I mean, it's new which is always nice, but the details for everything made one feel they really care. From the way they hand out tea and coffee to your personal liking, at the Front Desk, when checking in to the way the dish soap was folded into a towel... The service was excellent. The girls at the Front Desk (sorry, didnt catch the names), very nice & helpful and especially great impressions made Adrian at the bar. Very friendly yet professional and the way he was helping out with good guidance to his newer coworker...very nice! My friends and I will be back for sure.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The finishes and ambiance were absolutely stunning, with beautiful attention to detail that made the space feel luxurious and inviting. One of our favorite touches was the coffee setup each morning—it was such a great way to start the day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. However, we did encounter a couple of drawbacks. Unfortunately, parts of the hotel were still under construction during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the heater was positioned right next to the bed, and each time it turned on, it would wake me up, which affected my sleep. Despite those minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back once everything is fully completed!

We had a great time. We missed room cleaning by leaving our DND sign out and when I called they said we can come now, are you leaving. We said yes. We came back to no fresh towels and our room not cleaned. On the last day we ran out of toilet paper in our room as well. You still deserve 5 stars regardless. Just pay attention to the small details. We’ll be back :)

A great addition to Banff!
I had a wonderful stay at the Otter! Rooms were modern and comfortable, and I enjoyed the selection of coffee and tea they offered to make in the room. The staff were incredibly friendly, and made this solo traveler feel less lonely.
