The Alt is a very good value.
Very steady hotel. Front desk is responsive and friendly. Two, especially Ying and Dewz, made my stay enjoyable. The Alt does have a longer walk than you would want to Sukhumvit, but does have complimentary shuttle (golf cart) that will take you up there.

Thé staff needs to learn more what is the Thai hospitality and manners , after the first reflection everything went perfectly. The hotel is nice , spacious and comfortable . There is a balcony to sit for smokers , good thinking . I recommend it , at this price can’t get better in Bangkok

Re-Evaluation Needed: This is Not a 4-Star Hotel
I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I believe its 4-star rating on Hotels.com should be reconsidered. Here's why: Location & Surroundings The hotel is tucked away in a back alley off a bustling street known for its "adult nightlife." There's an additional building across the road, which adds to the disjointed feel of the property. Check-In Experience: The check-in process was smooth, and the 1,000 baht cash deposit is pretty standard for the area. I appreciated that they honored my One Key VIP Platinum upgrade, and the front desk service was generally good. Room Experience Unfortunately, my room was located right next to the elevator, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the incredibly thin walls—you can hear everything. The room had a strange, unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore. Additionally, the TV didn’t work, though I chose not to report it. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. However, the balcony was of little use, given that the view was nothing more than an alley. The bathroom was another disappointment; the shower head was rusty, which didn’t instill confidence in the overall cleanliness. Breakfast The breakfast offered was small but adequate—a decent selection for a quick bite in the morning. Final Thoughts For a quick one-night stay, especially given the price, this hotel is passable. However, I would only recommend it for solo male travelers. It’s not suitable for family or those wanting upscale experience.

This stay was not as accommodating as my previous experience when I was checked in by the manager and her female associate. This time, the male staff member immediately told me I had an economy room. When I mentioned I booked a superior room, he insisted I could only upgrade for an additional charge. After asking him to check again, he confirmed I was right. I requested to speak with the manager, but he informed me she wasn't available. When I asked about an upgrade, he sarcastically remarked on my previous stay welcoming back and refused to upgrade me. He then told me to wait for my room to be ready because it was being sprayed for pest control because said room needed to vent and eventually placed me in a building across the street. The room was on the second floor, facing the highway with no view, and there was constant noise in the hallway. At all hours of the night. I suspect there might have been mice or rats in the air vents, or it could have been the sound of loose metal rattling from the air blowing. On the positive side, the staff did provide an iron and ironing board upon request, and the check-out process was easy.

The room I booked was large nice bathroom. Pool need to walk a few meters to another building. Hotel is on a small side street so not picturesque. Soi 4 is a "farang" area so expect all the usual professionals.

It's alright for a short stay
It was a good hotel to stay in. The GOODS: Super Clean, Hot Shower, Confortable bed, Shuttle to Nana and even if it's near the highway you don't hear it, located near a park that i really enjoyed. The OK: Breakfast is limited but does the job. Service is ok. They almost forgot to give me my deposit back when i checked out (1000B) The NOT so good: We could hear everything in the room next to us. From some conversation to ... everything else. Overall it is a quite nice place to stay if you are aware of it.
