Amazing staff, clean and comfortable rooms! From check in to check out, our stay was fantastic. Everyone is so kind, especially front door man. I had an issue with a noise outside my room from a pump and it couldn’t be fixed for a few days so they offered to change my room. They truly go above and beyond for their guests. Very walkable to lots of restaurants and bars, but on a side street so it is still fairly quiet. 10/10 would definitely stay again!

This property is conveniently located around several eateries, bars and two malls. As far as location, cleanliness, and staff are concerned, this hotel receives five stars. That being stated, the hotel is in serious need of remodeling. The room I stayed in, the floor boards were separating and the room needed a fresh coat of paint. They also need to provide soap for hand washing after using the toilet. You have to use the body wash that’s located in the shower to wash your hands.

The people at the front desk were great. Very helpful and friendly. The room was always cleaned and the room attendants were great as well. The best part of staying at the Hotel Mermaid is OM, the doorman. He is very friendly and attentive to my needs. Hotel Mermaid is my go to hotel in Bangkok because of the Staff, location and OM. See you in February.

Hotel was nice enough, concierge was amazing! Wasnt too far from everything. Really disappointed with the pool area though. Lots of construction work going on so full of noise, shade and work men. Also states it has a bar and it doesn't.

The staff is always very courteous and helpful. The rooms always immaculate. The location is most convenient to BTS, MRT, shopping and food. The price is fabulous. The doorman OM is the best. personable, helpful, and very helpful. This is GO-TO hotel always in Bangkok.

There are huge malls to take away your shopping pleasure and unwind your hunger. The location being in the lively district presented many attractions from activities like shopping and eat around. Definitely a good place for a holiday stay if you need a place to eat and enjoy. It was worth it.

I really don’t like giving poor reviews but this hotel is not what the photos or description states. It was very run down in the communal areas, there was no bar or restaurant, the areas were there but not been used in years, we had to go to a neighbouring hotel for breakfast. Saying all this the room was clean and spacious and the doorman was very polite.
