Pool bar in 4 star hotel - items on menu not available, example- no ice coffee as no milk apparently due to low milking season for cows. Never heard bigger bs. Overall property run by unmotivated personel without management- looks like it anyway

It’s a great hotel right in the thick of it in Sukhumvit. My only annoyance was having paid for an upgrade to a Privilege Room, I assumed that would get access to the Privilege Club, but I had to pay extra again for that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mercure. Our room was great, a good size and with everything we needed for our stay. Staff were friendly but not over bearing and location wise it couldn’t have been much better. A short walk to the BTS to explore the city but also plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep if you didn’t fancy going far. Pool area was clean and quiet and the bar well stocked.

There was a cockroach in the shower.. even after housekeeping came to make up the room, it wasn't removed. Staff was rude when we asked for late checkout. We get it that the occupancy level might be high, but there was no need to be snappy about it. Booked the hotel because it is an international chain but it fell short of that standard. Disappointed.
