Although the Rembrandt Hotel is only 30 years young, it feels like you've stepped into a one hundred year old luxury ocean liner such as the Queen Mary. The hotel is magnificent in its traditional style, yet in fantastic shape and always spotlessly clean. The pool water is crystal clear and the tiles bright and clean. The staff, without exception, are professional, courteous and friendly. This hotel more than exceeded all of my expectations.

Overall Perception of my business stays.
Posted 28 Sep. 2024 on HotelsFirstly, the frontdesk staffs especially Ms Apple and few bell boys are extremely helpful and patient.
Secondly, the breakfast is average in terms of variety and taste which don't expect too high standard. The restaurant manager which trusted not a local thai seemed to be very polite to westerners ONLY!
Thirdly, building structures are old except level 21 to 25 are newly renovated but pay a higher room rate for it.

The woman who checked me in wouldn’t help extend my stay another day telling me, “we are totally full. It was obvious that they were not. A few days later the manager added a day at a very fair price. They have a Mexican restaurant by the pool that has no Mexican dishes on their menu!

This was the second hotel we stayed at in Bangkok and we wish we would have not changed hotels. the cleaning staff did a sub par job of cleaning the room, the toilet bowl had a permanent yellow ring at the water level and the shower/tub combination had a ledge where the tub and tub surround met which had black mold as the water didn't drain.The furniture is in need of replacement as the tables have water stains and damage and the chairs were dirty and had stains as well. The buffet breakfast was good. The area is more westernized and you really don't feel the Thai experience.
