This our second stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok. From getting out of the taxi to reception to various dinning outlets the staff were wonderful. Concierge staff were always helpful and the ladies looking after us at breakfast were always attentive and cheerful. We had a most wonderful dinner at the Thatra Thong. The food was fantastic, the staff wonderful and the view on the balcony outstanding. In summary would always stay at this hotel when in Bangkok Well done Royal Orchid team

The hotel is in good location to explore the city attractions like the grand palace , Wat Pho , wat Arun and Icon. All can be done using the city boat service .Restaurant wise maybe a bit limited. Hotel is reformed, but well maintained. Staff is attentive, always with a smile. The sea food restaurant , Yatch Club was at a miss, seafood but missing lobster during a weak day dinner.The boat service was very convenient. Breakfast with many options. Noise from dinner cruise boats can be heard from time to time.

Personal Honest Review of the Hotel
The Icon Siam was conveniently close, and the free shuttle boat made it easy to get around. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent, but the dinner buffet was terrible. We entered a little after 8 PM, but they didn’t inform us that the kitchen would close around 9 PM, and the food was not replenished. We paid about $150 for two people, which was very disappointing.

Amazing location by the Chao Phraya. VERY friendly, smiley, helpful staff. Excellent pool next to the river. Sprawling breakfast. Classic 70s lobby. Spacious rooms, yes they are very slightly dated in places but this in no way affects their comfort. A totally relaxing stay. Thanks to all.

Great hotel right across from Siam Mall. The hotel offers free boat shuttle to the mall every 30 minutes. Huge breakfast buffet Selection with so many options. Loved it.

My view on Bangkok is simple - stay along the Chao Praya River. This is my 4th time in Bangkok and I always stay on the river. Now that they have built this amazing Mall across the river from the Sheraton it is a must see and experience. The dining and shopping opportunities at the ICONSIAM mall is fantastic. The Sheraton is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The 2 pools relaxing and all along the calming riverside. The staff is pleasant and, of course, the boat the hotel has that will transport to and from the ICONSIAM and other spots in the river. Avoid the crowded, bustling city and stay along the river. Would easily return here to this hotel. Well priced, too.

Stayey here with my family has nice rooms at a fair price and the views are great. I will stay here next time in bangkok
