Property was exactly what we needed for a 2 day stay in Bangkok. The area was conveniently located to the temples (maybe 25 min/$300 baht grab) and there are tons of bars and restaurants around. There’s also a train near by. Staff is friendly and the hotel offered many amenities including pool, room service, massages. It’s also a quiet street and the hotel was very clean. The only challenge we had was the hair dryer which was basically unusable because it wasn’t powerful enough. Would stay again!

The staff at Silom Serene are top-notch - friendly, professional, and always willing to help with taxis, tourism advice, and more. The hotel itself is well-appointed, with a pretty lobby and quick elevators. Our room was clean and comfortable, though we found the mattresses unusually firm and the room had a musty smell overall. Running the air conditioner helped a lot with the mustiness. The hotel's breakfast buffet (not included in our room rate) is typically expensive compared to alternatives and the quality doesn't match the convenience. There are several excellent cafĂŠs and bakeries in the area and Monday-Friday you can find breakfast food carts across the street serving fresh, hot street food and coffee. We didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend Silom Serene for a downtown Bangkok stay.
