I booked this hotel for a business trip as it was close to one of my clients. I was expecting a higher standard for the suite that I booked. It was average and there was no TV in the lounge area, only in the bedroom, although there were power outlets for the TV in the lounge and it seems that at one time, a TV was planned for that area. The Club is strange. No evening cocktail hour, the best you can get is Afternoon tea that runs from 4-6pm. Not much good if you are working a full day and are looking forward to a tipple when you get back to the hotel. Drinks in the Sky bar ran from 800-1200 baht for a shot. Outrageous!! One other thing that I did not like was after I had stopped at reception on the way out to inquire about a shuttle to the airport for the next day, (there is not one), I was stopped by a young female staff member who asked where I was going. I was pulling my roll along computer bag and obviously they thought that I was doing a runner, as I was asking about getting to the airport and had mistaken my computer bag as a suitacase. I thought this was quite rude. I do not see that I will be using this hotel again and unless you really like to pay a lot of money for drinks, you have much better options in Bangkok.
