Beautiful property. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are no restaurants onsite at the hotel as advertised, but there are plenty of options nearby. There was some noise from the street at night as it is a busy area - but it is in a prime central location. Unfortunately the construction across the street did damper the view from the room.

Nice property near walkable areas and great dinning. One minor issue with air conditioning in our room which wasn't working and required maintenance to come remove and clean the filter (20 minute fix). Afterwards, AC worked great. Very friendly staff!

We were incredibly excited to stay at the Arai Aparthotel hotel, as this was a splurge in accommodation for us. Generally the staff was very kind at courteous, especially on on our final day when we needed a taxi to the airport. However, how we were treated after having a bed-bug scare was absolutely unacceptable. Staff told us that although there was blood on the sheets and evidence, the bugs most-likely came from outside, so there was nothing they could do. There was no offer to switch rooms (even after we requested a room change) and they refused to provide laundry services. It made our stay wildly uncomfortable. They have a responsibility as a hotel to provide a cleanly environment for guests and failed to do so. I recognize things happen, but I would hope that any accommodation would see the severity of an issue like this and how it can affect both the people who are experiencing it and others staying on the property. Had we been treated with more empathy, kindness and understanding - I would have rated our stay as wonderful, but this treatment soiled an otherwise exemplary trip and caused an incredible amount of undue stress.

Pros & Cons of Arai Aparthotel
Pros: Hotel is a central location to everything. We did average about 7 miles walking each day. Yummy restaurants all around. The sauna was great. The rooms were sound proofed. Cons: Gym is not a gym - you have to reserve it because it has one bike, one elliptical, one treadmill, and one free weight rack of up to 25lbsish. No bench. The gym smelled like mold and there was no way I was working out and breathing all that into my system. Lastly, we were hit with a daily tax outside of our bill. Frustrating to not have that included with all the other fees and surcharges.

The staff, the rooms, the rooftop pool, the location are all what makes this an excellent place to stay. We had a room at the back of the hotel which allowed us to enjoy the lovely atmosphere of the courtyard that often had live music. You can walk to everything you need from this hotel but it is such a lovely place that you may not be in a rush to leave.

The Arai Hotel is in an excellent location. Shops, dining and groceries are right there. The hotel staff was excellent, providing excellent guidance, friendly and knowledgeable too. Check in/out was easy. The rooms were spacious modern and the beds were very comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus as we like to open the doors and sit with a drink and enjoy the pediatrician traffic below. I’d definitely stay here again.
