We chose this property for the central location, however, every driver we encountered told us not to walk around the area at night. The room itself was fine, some light fixtures were loose. The bathroom was only passable in cleanliness and the air vent emitted an awful whine the entirety of our stay. The interior of the property is not easy to navigate, but the breakfast buffet was lovely. It was fine, but not luxury. Overall, we probably would not return.

I liked the size & layout of the room. The room seemed large and well lit. The bathroom is especially well designed with a sliding wooden door that dampens the noise and 2 sinks; 2 windows that open; and the toilet (beside the shower stall) is in a separate stall with a door that closes beside the shower stall. This makes it easy for 2 people to use the bathroom simultaneously.

Great hotel centrally located in Barcelona. Breakfast was amazing, pool area very nice and great staff. Only negative was that it was poorly isolated doors to the hallway, so we heard clearly people coming and going in the hallway (24h).

We rented 2 rooms in the hotel. The one we reserved thru Expedia had NO FUNCTIONING AIR CONDITIONING. WE ASKED 3 TIMES AND WERE PROMISED MAINTENANCE WOULD COME BUT THEY NEVER CAME. TERRIBLE AND HOT. Room was clean and modern and the other room we rented had great air conditioning We were very disappointed and asked for a discount but we were ignored. Personally, I liked everything about the hotel. The location was a plus. I liked my upgrade for two of the rooms we reserved. That really made the stay a super plus!

My stay at Catalonia Hotel started off well, but unfortunately, it took a disappointing turn. On the second night, I requested an iron, which never arrived despite waiting for it. The next morning, I called again, reminding them of my request from the previous night, and was assured it would be sent up. After waiting again with no iron in sight, I went to the front desk to speak with the manager. While she apologized politely, no further action was taken to address the issue. To make matters worse, after checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my Apple Watch in the room. I immediately contacted the hotel via the portal I had used for previous communication, explaining the situation and that my watch was still showing as being at the hotel. It has now been three days, and I have yet to receive any response from the hotel. I even sent a follow-up message yesterday and still no reply. Overall, the lack of communication and failure to address these issues has left me quite disappointed with my stay. I expected better service and responsiveness from a hotel of this caliber.
