We got room 1304. As soon as we open the door we noticed that the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The vents for the AC had mold and the ceiling around it was super dirty. Bathroom smelled bad, like old pee. There is a balcony that was never cleaned. The view from it is an assisted living facility building where we could see that poor people suffering. We asked for another room, they gave us the 1504. Not a big difference. I won’t recommend it to anyone. Breakfast buffet with very limited options. They have a restaurant call Antic Cafe Espanyol which belongs to the same company. When I asked reception for ice to take to my room they told me to go to the mini market next door and buy there. Restaurant doesn’t do that for customers. Walls, aisles and elevators were dirty.

The bed was so not orthopedic. I woke up with a back pain everyday because the bed was super tough. The room and the hotel altogether is very basic. I paid over $140 without tax, you can stay at a much better place in many major cities. Breakfast was great and the staff are lovely. Bathroom was renovated and in pretty good condition. Just the mattress needs to be exchanged with another comfortable one

We loved our stay here! Property is clean, staff professional, spoke English well and helped us book a few taxis. We arrived before 1500 for check in but they found us a room without a problem. Room was a bit loud with traffic but it wasn't bad with the fan on while sleeping. Property is fairly central with a short walk from Placa de Catalunya for the airport bus, close to the gothic district and La Rambla, and a 30 minute walk to the beach. We got the paid breakfast and the food was very good and even had cappuccino machines. Would stay here again without question

Nice vibrant hotel, with professional, helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was okish You can reach most areas direct from the hotel front door as the metro is just outside. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. I would certainly come back

On check in we were told that there weren't any rooms with twin beds, which was what I had booked, on our insistence one miraculously appeared.Our first 3 nights were at the front of the hotel which is right next door to an exceedingly noisy nightclub, which keeps you awake all night. We got moved to the back of the hotel which was infinitely quieter, although we had paid for a superior room I don't think that the second room was a superior one. Towels got taken away when not requested and not replaced, the floor was filthy, they didn't replenish coffee, milk and sugar in the room and they threw away my own coffee. The safe didn't work and it took 4 requests to get it fixed!! Breakfast was only just edible, "hot" food was mostly cold and there was a little Hitler patrolling the place who wouldn't let me have any soya milk for coffee in my room

Hotel was in a good area. Handy. The cleaners where lazy i would say. The toilet hadn't been fushed as we entered the room. Can of beer on balcony for a ashtray. Had a shower and some grouting fell off. Took our towels away, but didn't replace.them.

Hotel was okay as far as budget hotels go. Some things were a little strange, the staff would not provide us with any cutlery for our room, despite having a restaurant in house, and we were accused of smoking multiple times because the fire alarm was acting up. Barely provided with clean mugs in the room, I had to wash them up myself, and one day our room was not cleaned at all. We realised that the fridge turns off with the rest of the electrics when the key card is removed, which doesn’t make any logical sense, also our shower would fluctuate severe temperatures so you had to constantly step out from under the flow. Advertising a gym is misleading, it is one cable machine (with minimal attachments) and a couple of bikes. We made the best of our stay regardless, but would not return here.

It’s close to Barcelona city, walking distance but also metro and buses readily available. Check in was a bit slow and didn’t get the right room at first, area outside hotel can feel a bit unsafe if you’re alone especially.
