Overall, our room had a terrace area that overlook the city. It was great. Great location, close to airport and cruise terminal. Walking distance to the aquarium with lots of food options. Only downside was the bed. It was a side by side twin that wasn’t connected. So the bed kept sliding apart. Plus, the mattress was too firm for my liking. It was not very good sleep for me.

fantastic location and front desk staff

fantastic location and front desk staff. i stayed for several days and then came back after taking a side trip to the Canary Islands. the front desk staff remembered me and my name when checking in and also remembered my stores luggage. the staff was very helpful in answering ‘tourist’ questions as well. the hotel has a great little coffee shop and a rooftop area for drinks, food and relaxation if needed. the room attendants were always very friendly when passing in the hall. there is also a lively pub next door that had delicious food. downside for me was comfort. i found the bed to be hard. i like a soft bed.

Nice clean and comfortable hotel with modern fixtures and fittings. Reception staff were very friendly. Equidistant to the beach and the city centre. Ideal spot for the half marathon. I was disappointed when the pool was closed even though they had advertised a pool.

Very nice, just one small complaint

The hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly, the only issue was that a couple of us found cockroaches in our rooms. Other than that, no complaints.

Very quiet place near Barceloneta, right next to public transportation and walkable to La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. The beds were a little hard and the bathroom had some mold and a few small bugs. The front desk and all cleaning staff were great, nice, and very professional.

The hotel is in a great location close to the sea, and to the metro stop. It is clean and bright, the reception and bar area are welcoming and comfortable and a great place to catch up with people or to work online. The staff were friendly and helpful. My bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all of high quality and comfort. The main drawback for me was being disturbed by other residents throughout the night. The walls of the bedrooms must be very thin unfortunately.

The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel was clean and in a very centrally located location. I would recommend this hotel, not to mention there is a McDonalds and liquor store right next door!

There was an incident the first night. Room was double booked. A couple entered while we were a sleep late at night. Then reception called and woke us to say there was a problem asking for our name. I complained the next day as it was a scary experience. Staff were ver apologetic. I would return as it had everything we wanted and was in a great location.

Super high stiff pillows, very painful to sleep on. Expedia lets you book a "Queen or Twin room" then the hotel chooses a twin for you and wont let you switch, impossible to stay as a couple. Stayed only one night because it was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep then they would not refund it, so $1700 USD lost. Location is fine but avoid - for this price you can do MUCH better

The room is very clean and new. Location is good. I chose the hotel because of their rooftop terrace but it was closed due to maintaining. That was a little disappointing. I think the hotel should inform customers if this on their website.
