We had a really lovely time! Only there for four nights,we booked a basic room, which was more than adequate for our needs! If we go again we would book one of the better rooms, although the basic room was very clean ,the bed really comfy, quiet, tea and coffee facilities, biscuits, renewed every day.bathroom smallish, but ok! Breakfast was good, our evening meal was really good, good choice of menu! All personal were very good, polite cheerful and very helpful! We would go there again and would recommend it! It does get very busy at times and we are not surprised! Keep up the good work!👍⭐️

Nice budget hotel. Set just off the road in a pleasant setting. The room was small with comfortable beds,tv, kettle. The staff were lovely. The sizzling beef and chicken kebabs were fantastic and the wine a good quality.

Was an okay stay, can't fault the staff, they were all very helpful. Room needs updated as bed lopsided but I still found it comfortable, hubby didn't. A lot of black mould in the shower although it was clean, as was the room but for £50, which included breakfast (which was lovely) can't grumble. Pleased I was only staying one night though and I would certainly use it as a stopover again if I didn't need to shower.

The hotel is nice. Breakfast is excellent. I booked comfort double room, stayed in Room N 1 , room was on the lower ground floor as window was the same level as road outside. Bed was comfortable, room was not too small but not big either, bathroom was small, to get to shower you need squeeze between toilet seat and shower cubicle , not practical as you can not put mat on floor by shower to step out. The room was dark , as no celling lights, only two table lights and bed lights, as it was on ground floor it was looking very dark room , plus no sunlight either because the position , if I would stay again I would definitely want another room as this one was not a Comfort double room for me.

You need to love dogs to stay here
To start with, my wife had to clean the toilet before it could be used. The hotel also included facilities for many Camper vans which are obviously used by people that have dogs as every meal we had in the restaurant, we shared with nearly every other table having at least one or two dogs "sniffing", barking or smelling, sitting on the chairs or being fed by the owner on their laps, it was like eating in the middle of Battersea dog home! On top of this the breakfast service was appalling - when we asked for the second time for some bread to toast and marmalade ,we were told we are very short staffed and: ..." we are busy you know!"... The self-service area was dirty and I gave up when the dispenser for the tomatoes only contained tomato water!

most things were fine /very good staff,, the downside is the room had a lot of black mould in bathroom/shower cubicle and along skirting and radiator pipes /not good for anyone with asthma i had to take my spinhalers quite a lot . spray bleach mould cleaner would cure it
