SUPERB HOTEL
Ideal location, all the staff were friendly, good selection of breakfast. tram stop for the centre is across the road and the train station is 10 min. 4francs a day tax is payable.

Slightly overpriced but good hotel and great staff
Conveniently located. Clean and comfortable overall. A bit on the high side for price, particularly considering breakfast is not included. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately 24 hours prior to our stay, we were stranded by law nearby. We notified Expedia and Novotel Basel City Hotel directly to only be told that that we cannot receive a refund, a credit or change the dates of our stay and we were out of luck. We even have documented proof of being stranded. Terrible service and management by all parties while we suffered for days.

Hotel was clean. Pullout was full size. Mattresses on both beds too hard and pillows too firm . Could not sleep they were so hard. Friends with me had same issue. Overall a great hotel aside from the pillows and mattresses.
