City centre hotel great for exploring the city. 10 minute walk from the main railway station. Hotel and room were clean and tidy and staff were friendly and attentive. Can get busy. We booked so we didn’t have to faff about with taxis and buses and it was perfect as everywhere is walkable from the hotel. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We found the Hampton excellent near to shops and restaurants the room was emaculate and staff amazing only one little complaint no jam or marmalade for toast at breakfast buffet will definitely stay again

Central to everything.
I really enjoyed my stay it was a great central location perfect for the Christmas market. The room was spacious & the beds comfortable it had a large shower with good water pressure & the buffet breakfast a an excellent selection which was included in your room rate. The main selling point though is the staff all I spoke to were both pleasant & helpful. The only down side was that the bar had no tomatoe juice, so if you were wanting a Bloody Mary you'd be out of luck.

Great hotel, perfect location, with very decent breakfast included. Staff were brilliant but aircon used to heat the room in winter was an issue for us … it worked but the direction of it blew both hot and cold air over the bed so caused a draught which could not be altered . Staff tried their best
