Do you need a lake place where you can gather with family & friends?
- Furnished with appliances, cookware, dishes, and outdoor grill
- Ample room and tables for quilters/crafters
- Plenty of room to relax and share a meal & cool ones with friends
... all with the enjoyment of being on a Minnesota lake. This one is right up I-94 only 2.5 hours from downtown Mpls and less than 1.5 hours from Fargo. Head out on the highway and be a guest in our home.
And come back in the summer and enjoy a stay on Clitherall Lake, a fairly quiet lake with a 6’-13' water clarity rating and is great for swimming, fishing, & watersports. (Bring water shoes. Some like to wear them because of the rocks and/or mussels.)
You'll have access at the front door with a keypad using the last four numbers of the phone number provided, then press pound. If you run into trouble, press the Ring-Camera doorbell, and we should be able to help you out remotely.
Concerned about the What-Will-The-Kids-Do-If-It-Rains-All-Week scenario? Our home has books, board-games, ping-pong, foosball, and even a stand-up arcade Pac-Man game!
Comforts of Home:
Pack less and use our washer and dryer. The 16-place dinnerware set will allow you to entertain and the smoothie/margarita blender, full set of cookware, coffee maker, iron, hair-dryers, etc. will add some of the comforts of home. We’ll probably even have some ice in the freezer to start your stay with your favorite beverage. So, although we’ll have a few of the necessities, if you forgot something or run out, you’ll only be 5 miles away from a Dollar General, grocery store, and several bar & grills, etc.
And bring your laptop if you need to work remotely. Our 40MB Wi-Fi seems to work in a pinch.
Activities:
Bring your fishing rods. This is a pretty good walleye lake. Enjoy the playing in the water, our swim mat, and use our kayaks and paddle-boards. We have a few lifejackets, kids and adults (adjustable between the approx. 30”-52” chest range). Some like to bring golf clubs with several nearby courses. We’ve also got Corn-Hole boards, a fire-ring (with cooking grate) down by the lake, and room to run and play.
Bedrooms:
Let’s talk sleeping arrangements – Each bed has sheets and bedding:
- Four quintessential bedrooms (each w/ TV),
- one private den bedroom (with a fantastic view),
- one "bunk-bed room" with two sets of bunks (where maybe the teens that want to sleep inside can have their privacy),
And the home still has interior locations for a quiet cup of morning coffee while the rest sleep! Or enjoy it on the deck, listening to the Loons.
Can't wait to have you over!
