Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

UP Weekend
This cabin was in the perfect location to explore the Eastern half of the UP. We visited Cut River Bridge, Tahquamenon Falls, White Fish Point and the Soo Locks. Cabin was just as in the pictures and clean. Neighborhood was quiet and lake was very calm.

We wanted to go to Sault Ste Marie and Mackinac Island. This was a great in between spot and perfect for our family of four. There's no wifi or TV, but we got good reception on our phones. <3

Nice Place on a Small Lake
We enjoyed our stay and it was just what we needed as a jumping off point for visiting Sault St. Marie and Mackinac Island as well as some down time on the lake front. A few minor quibbles - no soap for the shower, no pads on the chairs on the deck, and the bed in the master bedroom could use a new mattress (rolls to the middle).

This was a great place to stay. On a private lake right off the highway. AC was nice for the summer night and we loved the option of the fireplace too. Had cell service but enjoyed being away from the rush of the world ♡♡♡

Hidden Gem
Beautiful property tucked away on a peaceful lake. The interior is welcoming and has a home away from home feel. It is stock full of all the necessities. The lake is great for taking a ride on the paddle boat and for fishing! My only caution is if you are looking to swim in the lake, I would be prepared for lily pads and soft dirt on the shoreline.

PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years! I would highly recommend a stay here! Very clean, comfortable beds and stocked thoughtfully. I hope my sister and I can come stay again someday.

Romantic Getaway
The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We had a great time on the paddle boat and caught around 14 pike and 1 perch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over the lake. The grass was freshly mowed and looked so nice. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

We stayed one night at the cabin. It was very clean, the accommodations were wonderful, and the view was great. The cabin felt very comfortable. Communication with the property owner was excellent. I’d recommend staying there!
