Tranquil 3-BR Waterfront Retreat

Summary:
Retreat to the tranquility and calm of this newly-renovated lakeside chalet in the Berkshires. The home is perfectly situated for families and friends looking for a getaway; the property features three bedrooms, a breakfast/work nook in the atrium, a ping pong table, a deck, a grill, a private dock, quaint grounds alongside the lake, and kayaks available for guests to use. Just 5 minutes to Jacob's Pillow, 25 minutes to Tanglewood, and 30 minutes to skiing at Butternut.

The Space:
Entire 3-BR bungalow on Long Bow lake with private dock. Long Bow Lake is a small lake, great for kayaking and canoeing. Note there are no motorized boats allowed. Swimming is at your own risk / discretion.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.

Perfect property!
The house is immaculate! One of the cleanest properties we've stayed in. The house was the perfect size for my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) with room for more. The beds are comfortable, and there were plenty of linens and towels. The linens and towels are high quality, very soft. The kids had fun fishing in the pond and made good use of the kayak (they caught some bass, pickerel and sun fish). The neighborhood is nice and quiet, dirt roads, no traffic...great for taking walks. We used the grill and the oven for dinners, and the kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for the food that we brought. The town of Lee is nearby (about 15 mins) and has some cute restaurants, plus a Big Y grocery store. The back deck is AMAZING! There's nice outdoor furniture for relaxing. We stayed in early spring and we were fortunate enough to have a a couple of nice afternoons warm enough to sit out there and enjoy the sun. The host was very responsive with communications and getting in and out of the house/keyless entry was a piece of cake. Highly recommend! We'd love to stay here again.

Just what we needed
This spot was just what we needed to relax and take a breath for a couple nights. Combined with a quick twenty minute drive to restaurants, felt like perfection. Very grateful they allowed us to have our Aussie Doodle along too. He was also a big fan ;)
