Check in less than ideal but okay after
My check in was less than ideal. The desk person was on the phone while checking me in. The were complaining about another employee letting me know about their scheduling and manpower issues. I manage people from age 18-65 at work and also teach at my side gig. Not only are there simple answers to all these problems your customers should NEVER hear about employee issues unless it is impacting the customer at that time. Other than that my stay was good . My bathroom smelled of mildew but was otherwise clean organized and in good condition w comfy bed.

This hotel was pretty clean and had what we needed for a night in Fayettville. The breakfast was great. The water pressure in the shower could have been better and there were some small stains on the comforter on the bed, but other than that we have no complaints. We only stayed for one night so we didn't use the pool or gym or any other amenities.

I do believe that the Comfort Inn hotel chain has declined. The room was small and had an odor. I would describe as stall. The room seemed to appear clean and the beds were comfortable, but everytime we entered the room, we were hit with a stall smell. The bathroom has extremely limited counter space, but was clean. The breakfast was sufficient. For the high price we paid for this room for two nights, I would have liked to been able to enjoy the room.
