At the heart of high-end bustling shopping district, the opposite house is an oasis. Just like all other Kengo Kuma designs, every corner is a piece of art. The receptionists are so friendly and helpful - they checked us in quickly and even brought us to the room with a nice room tour. The Sanlitun area is full of great eats and shops, so you won’t be bored.

It’s k, but not the best for the price.
This hotel its fine. But honestly, for the price, I was expecting much more. The rooms are just very regular rooms, in fact some of the stuff is quite old, my room had some almost broken shelf doors.

What an amazing place!
I have stayed at many many hotels around the world, and Opposite is one of my favorites. The rooms are amazing, location is perfect, and the people are friendly. The bar makes unbelievable cocktails. I felt like leaving a family when I checked out. Highly recommend.

Just a fantastic hotel with regards to service, check in and hotel was fantastic, only slight negative was the guide we had to visit summer palace & forbidden city was just OK ( he did not adapt to his client, example did take us to the most tourist orientated restaurant, the opposite what we wanted

Gorgeous and Worth the Money
Absolutely gorgeous hotel and the rooms are so unique. Impeccable service on top of it all. This is one of my favorite hotels in Beijing. Worth the price and would prefer this over any big chain hotel. The toiletries are also VERY comprehensive!

Decided to give this place a try, since I love the Upper House in HK. Check-in was smooth, and staff all around were nice and accommodating. Very good location near restaurants, shopping and embassies. The studio 95, has a strange layout. It was just a long space. The floors were old and uneven. The room smelled like a public toilet. So we had to change rooms. Next room had a terrace and much better layout. The problems: waited all night to watch World Cup, only to find that the channel for it was not working!! All the channels were fine, but not the sports channel!! The room above or below were having loud sex all night, it was scary. Then, the noise from the road, constant honking. The walls on this hotel are THIN. Bed was uncomfortably hard. I really wanted to like this place but I’ll never return. It’s more of a 3-4 Star.
