Beautiful property loaded with flowers and birds and tucked into a quiet neighborhood in a convenient location. Lots of restaurants and bars and the water taxi all an easy walk. We got in late and walked to dinner and then checked out the park and neighborhood afterward. The residents were very friendly and welcoming of us. Staff was OK. Not much in the way of amenities in the room. Some hand soap, a hair dryer, two drinking glasses, two bottles of water, and a couple of irons. We would’ve liked hot water for tea or coffee maybe a mini fridge or microwave. Very, very clean and well maintained property. We were able to get cups of hot water at the cafe across the street. We enjoyed sipping our coffee from one of the swings on the property while listening to the birds.

Harbor View is a unique hotel property oriented towards healthy and spiritual living. Yoga classes and spa services are offered on site along with a nice restaurant on site that offers vegan options as well as local foods. We were there during a tropical storm and needed to extend our stay by a few days, and the staff was very accommodating.

No hot water & no pressure, instant coffee, tiny room, not very clean and more. No other hotel would charge you if you dry yourself with a towel when you've sunscreen on. These guys do! The only nice thing about this property was the pool and only because no one else was using it. I wouldn't make any of these comments if it were priced right, no more than U$100, then there wouldn't be much to complain about but we were charged about U$380!

Walking distance from ferry coming from San Pedro. Also walking distance to place to eat and relax. Close to the Belize sign. Can get busy when cruise ships come in

The property is set in beautiful gardens with two swimming pools and within walkable distance from the water taxi. I had a comfort room overlooking the garden. The room was of a good size with a king bed, desk, and a lovely hot shower. I had come for 5 days of chill time after a busy travel schedule so Harbour View was perfect. There were also yoga sessions and a spa if you needed them but prices were on the high side. Martha's cafe served lovely food for breakfast and lunch. The staff were wonderful and I would have eaten here more often had it not have been so expensive. The tours offered are also more than double what I paid. They don't organise the tours - it's a third party, so there's no benefit booking via the hotel so best to shop around. A kettle with tea and coffee in the room would have been welcome (there's a water dispenser in Reception) as there's sufficient space. More information on the local surroundings i.e. supermarkets etc. would have been useful as Reception didn't seem to be able to provide this information. I ended up having to Google the area myself. I enjoyed a lovely, quiet five days and would definitely stay again if I were to return to Belize City.

Room was a step down from a motel 6. Very “under basic”. Grounds were attractive and adventuresome. Eatery closes at 2:00 but does have attractive view of the river. Spa treatment was adequate but masseuse didn’t focus on my very sore shoulder as I repeatedly asked. She had her routine and that was it.

Glad this hotel was gated, as this was not a safe area. My friend and I were chased by a homeless woman begging for food. Apparently the tourist stuff at the cruise port is only open when there is a ship in the port. There was only one (overpriced) hotel around the corner that offered food, as Harbour View had their restaurants closed for the season…the rooms are a bit outdated, and the beds were fairly uncomfortable. However, the property is within walking distance to the ferry terminal.
