The cabin is located near the town of Bellaire and is just 5-minutes from SHANTY CREEK RESORTS. The area offers some of the finest skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile trails, hiking, hunting, golfing, boating and fishing in the State of Michigan. The area is close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Mackinac Island as well as many other local attractions. SHANTY CREEK RESORTS offers something for everyone and can be a year-round destination. Many amenities are provided to offer you a wonderful vacation experience. Special note to golfers: There are nine regulation golf courses within 5 miles and others are within 20 minutes. Beautiful Cabin
Beautiful cabin surrounded by woods. Very quiet little to no traffic. No internet however we made it work. You will want to bring your own DVD’s if you have a certain taste in movies. Make sure to bring coffee with you. One packet was provided. Nice cookware. For anyone who needs a soft mattress they are firm. 😊. Wonderful stay!! Recommend!

The home was stocked with everything we needed, i.e, pots pans, dishes, cups, baking ware, keurig, baking sheets, plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, additional chairs on front porch if needed. It was clean upon our arrival, & decorated very nice too. We loved how we only had 3 neighbors around, but not very close, plenty of seating indoors and out. The huge porch was a hit, firepit, gas fireplace indoors, the loft was perfect for the kids, and it was so nice that their was a washer and dryer stack unit in the bathroom. The owner seamlessly expedited our checkin, and clearly responded to any questions we had prior to our stay & rules for the home.. If you are looking for a cozy log cabin home to rent that is shaded completely by trees, and is quiet, yet super close to Bellair, this is a gem. Thank you John!

Great Location! Very Clean Inside!
Likes: - the location is fantastic! Very quiet and close to Torch Lake, Boyne and not too far from Traverse City - inside is very clean! The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with necessities, no bugs at all, we all absolutely loved the arcade and we played it often especially since we had a few days of rain, also loved the bench in the bedroom! - the bathroom is large and loved the washer/dryer too Dislikes: - the porch and around the cabin was very dirty and had many cobwebs. The leaves were pretty heavy too. - I wished there was an empty cupboard to store our food. We had to leave it sit out on the island because all the cupboards are full of kitchen items which made the kitchen look cluttered. - although there is a coat rack, I wish there were some more hooks to hang jackets, etc and in the bedroom too - not enough room to hang items. - did not like the spiral staircase at all but we knew it was there before we rented

delightful cabin in the woods.
Nice and quiet spot to unplug and unwind. No wifi and limited tv but that's the point. Inside the cabin was well stocked minus wine glasses. Cabin was highlighted by a Ms PacMan game. Clean inside. Porch furniture needed a wipe down before using. Overall, we would return and we enjoyed our stay. Owner was attentive and easy to communicate with.

Nice cabin near Shanty Creek. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Fire place was great after long day of skiing. Location does not have much cell service and cabin doesn’t have Wi-Fi either.
