A relaxing 5 weeks with my 2 cats in rural France
The trip was a great success. It was just what I was looking for: gorgeous countryside, relaxation and a lovely little home and garden to enjoy. Ussel is a 20 minute drive away and has all,the shops that you would ever need. There is also a smaller spar shop 5 minutes away by car which is also very handy. There are marked local walks which I thoroughly enjoyed (in Sornac, St Germain Lavolps and in Bellechassagne). I also made good use of the barbecue in the evening and of course made the most of French bread each day with cheese and wine, Thank you very much Irene and Patrick.

Excellent house in a nice setting
The stay in Bellechassagne was great. The little house has everything, was very clean, and is located in a very quiet setting. The pictures of the house do not fully show how great the place is. Irene and her husband were great hosts and took very good care of us. I highly recommend this place to any person, couple or small family enjoying countryside live, hiking and cycling

Jolie petite maison authentique
Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette petite maison très authentique, à l'image de la région que nous avons découverte (Parents + 2 enfants de 7 et 9 ans). Les propriétaires sont charmants, le cadre est magnifique. L'annonce correspond exactement à la réalité. Nos attentes ont donc été comblées. Un petit bémol sur la propreté, même si cela va bien avec l'esprit de la maison... 😅 Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Gîte très sale
Accueil plutôt sympathique, petit apéritif offert, mais gîte horriblement sale, toiles d'araignées et mouches mortes partout, sol sale, rideaux sales, ni aspirateur, ni serpillière. Les chiens au demeurant très gentils, crottent à côté de la porte d'entrée, porte qui reste en permanence ouverte puisqu'il n'y pas de clefs pour fermer le gite. Bref à éviter si vous appréciez un tantinet la propreté. En revanche, plateau des mille vaches magnifique, plein de beaux coins à decouvrir.

Un retour un naturel.
Nous avons passé une semaine géniale dans un cadre naturel et calme. Les hôtes sont adorables et très accueillant. La simplicité des lieux en pleine nature permet de se ressourcer après de bonnes journées passées à découvrir les environs. Nous recommandons vivement !

Wer das einfache Leben liebt: Leben mitten in der Natur
In einem ehemaligen Backhaus, mit weitem Blick über die Hügel und Ponies hinter dem Zaun, wir liebten das. Kein Luxus, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht (warme Dusche, Herd, bequemes Bett), dazu sehr nette, gastfreundliche Gastgeber im Nachbargebäude. Wir kamen, um den stillgelegten Transcorrézien, die Bimmelbahn zwischen Ussel und Tulle abzuwandern und die vielen noch erhaltenen hübschen Minibahnhöfe zu sehen – und entdeckten in buchstäblich jedem Dorf eine Kirche aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Dazu Schlösser, einen großen Wasserfall, einen stillgelegten Viadukt, Talsperren. Das Corrèze: eine der dünnstbesiedelten Gegenden Frankreichs: ein Geheimtipp. Nur Einkehren unterwegs gelingt selten. Die Landflucht fällt auf.
