We had a lovely time exploring the beauty of Manchester from this VERY comfortable couple of rooms above a garage! The rooms were large, very well appointed and quite comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and the views are awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a secluded and peaceful location yet close to downtown Manchester and area activities. We didn’t find the property to be “luxe” though which was fine and note there isn’t a dishwasher if you plan on eating in!

Great property south of Manchester
My wife and I couldn't be happier. We need a place in Southern VT as a home base for visiting family and getting to Burlington for the eclipse. This property was perfect. Looks brand new, and is super well maintained. Most comfortable beds I've experienced in a vacation rental. Would definitely do again.

Located in a cozy setting away from the main road, the apartment is spacious, very well equipped and clean. Highly recommended. It’s about 30 mins from Stratton mountain and few minutes from Manchester town.

The green barn is a great quiet, private space near town. It's clean, well-maintained and as shown in photos. Owners are very thoughtful in amenities and instructions/tips/local magazines provided. Very easy check in and out. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful setting!
The converted upstairs apartment of a quintessential green barn is surrounded by all sides by picturesque views of the mountains. The setting is private; the host checked in but wasn’t obtrusive; and the field with the Adirondack chairs made our visit! The unit was a little challenging with young kids because it only has a shower, but we made it work for a long weekend.

Hiking getaway!
This property is even better than the listing. The location is fabulous, just a very short drive from downtown Manchester. The apartment is so peaceful and relaxing. The owners have a great eye for detail and it had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked dinner both nights and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We hope to visit again in the Fall! I gave the communication with the owner 5 stars even though we did not need to reach out to them as the apartment had absolutely everything we needed. The little touches make all the difference. A little welcome sheet, a hairdryer, soap, dishsoap, shampoo etc. We loved everything about it!

ive come to vt all my life - manchester to wallingford to burlington for family visits ...this place was above and beyond anywhere we have stayed and i was thrilled to have found it! my daughter and i honestly didnt want to leave ! my ONLY feedback thats not glowing is it took us a long time to figure out the tv remotes and the order in which to use them..minor annoyance ...takes NOTHING away from our stay....very appreciative of the care they took creating this space...

Great Manchester Retreat
The Green Barn was a fabulous place for us to stay in Manchester. It was close enough to get to everything we wanted to do including hiking, shopping, drives to covered bridges and the Equinox Skyline, as well as a trip to ride the gondola in Stratton. There is so much to do in the area! The Green Barn was comfortable with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make a great breakfast or late dinner after our explorations. The couch and TV were also nice for relaxing.

Beautiful Green Barn
Rented the place for the weekend so we could go on a snowmobile tour. Had a great time, the place is very nice, clean well kept and just a great experience staying at the Green Barn. Close to outdoor fun and Manchester has great shops and dining. We’ll definitely be back.

Clean, new and private VRBO with Easy Access to Bromley, Stratton, Magic and Manchester
It was very very easy process. The owners of the rental property also reside in a separate home on their property and are ready willing and able to help out and make available whatever is needed for the state to be enjoyable. The bedroom containing two beds was expensive with plenty of storage and space. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels and linens. The main room is very well appointed and has most every amenity you could need, including a very large flat screen TV with many cable channels. The only recommendation I would make for this property is that they add a larger couch or additional seating around the TV. They provide access to a heated parking garage which is great for storing all snow gear and/or your vehicle. You can be in the center of Manchester within five minutes, at Bromley in about 12 to 15 minutes, Stratton and 25 minutes and Magic in 25 minutes. It would’ve been nice to have a fireplace, but it is readily apparent from the profile of the property that there is not one. In other words, I have nothing but positive reviews for the property.

The green barn was so beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the views of the mountain were lovely. We enjoyed watching the visiting turkeys in the morning. The location was convenient but away from it all so it felt relaxing.
