Property was in overall good shape. Believe 3rd floor was still undergoing some renovations, but our 3rd floor room was clean and met our needs. Would stay at The Block in Bentonville again.

Overall, it was an average stay.
I really liked the check-in which consisted of a text to my phone with a code to my room number. Made my late check-in very simple. The room was clean and had amenities like microwave and fridge, however, strangely, there was not a single lamp. The nightstand between the beds was completely bare without a single thing on it. I wondered if the guest before stole the lamp and alarm clock. It was bizarre and not great to charging bc I had to crawl under the bedside table to reach a plug. Aside from that- it was fine.

Not-So-Good Experience
We booked a standard deluxe suite and were placed in a standard double handicap accessible room. The room was very outdated. No counter in the bathroom just a free standing sink, cracks in the floor tile, wires hanging from the wall mounted tv. The room pictures advertised are misleading. I understand they are currently renovating, but until completed they should let customers know not all rooms have been renovated. Their front desk was not helpful, I was asked if I was sure the room had two beds instead of one standard queen bed and the manager did not seem concerned with our overall experience.

Very pleased with the room. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would book here if ever visiting Bentonville again. Especially liked that it was right next to a Starbucks.

It's a newly remodeled property thatā€™s clean and quiet with access to lots of dining and shopping. They send you a form to fill out through text before you arrive, which allows you to check in. I liked the keyless entry, a pin and your room number are included in a welcome text after you talk to the front desk. The room was nice, big TV on the wall, plenty of lighting, and good water pressure. My only caveat is, if youā€™re going to present yourself as a nice quality establishment, please PLEASE consider supplying better toilet paper.

Newly renovated hotel. Excellent little gem. Excellent customer service. Rooms are nice and updated. My only concern is the air conditioning. The units are loud and donā€™t completely keep the room cool. Otherwise a perfect hide away! Bike racks in the room are a definite plus.

Staff was nice. Location was not central but seemed safe. Air conditioning kicked on and off all night and was extremely loud. Hotel accepts pets which became a problem when neighborā€™s dog barked for 30 minutes straight one early morning. Breakfast seemed good. Overall, it was middle of the road. Rooms seemed very porous in terms of sound.

Fine for the Price but would not choose again
For the price, the accommodations were fine. It has clearly just been renovated and under new ownership but there are many worn-down elements to the place that were not addressed by the renovations. The biggest turn-off for me was the check-in process - I did not like being required to fill out forms before I arrived at the hotel and I really did not like being asked to submit a photo of my drivers license on-line without any assurance of security. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel for that reason alone.

The front counter staff both at check in AND check out were awesome! The mini fridge was way overdue for defrosting and items such as microwave and fridge were a very tight fit for this room. Although small, room and bathroom were very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable
