These tiny eco dwellings have been custom built to compliment the principles of âForest Therapyâ or âShinrinyokuâ which is a popular practice in Japan. Shinrin means âforestâ and yoku means âbath.â
Shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses. It is a researched based therapeutic modality with multi-factorial health benefits including stress reduction and elevating mood; and is impacting the world.
The tiny houses underpin âQii Houseâsâ philosophy and each is immersed in a forest canopy within the Great Otway National Park; a haven for peace and tranquillity. And yes, they do have some âquirkâ, including red cupboards, colourful furnishings, a large pantry, queen day bed with three built in drawers, smeg appliances, a large round âfishbowlâ window, double sliding glass doors leading to your own private deck with a large custom built eco bath big enough for two, a hammock, yoga mats and some seating. You will also have your own private carpark.
