The hotel was in a good location but lots of people hanging around on the streets around the hotel late at night which made me feel uncomfortable. Hard to get into the property as the instructions were sent in italian with no option of translating it. The room itself was lovely and just what I was after. Clean and cosy

Great online check in. Key pad entry to building and room so felt safe. Room was lovely, modern, v comfy bed, lovely bathroom and shower. All v clean. Lift to room for cases. Great location, 10 min walk from train station and v close to the best little icecream place on the next street

A little bit far walking from the ugly train station, but definitely worth it. Great location with beautiful view from our room. Nice, simple design, very clean. Only the shower door were very noisy to close. Otherwise everything about this place was perfect.

Disappointed upon arrival that the bathroom had been neglected. No shower get or hand soap. Also the toilet roll was empty. I did want to shower as it was 10pm when we arrived. The next morning I spoke to the cleaner to rectify this. Other than that lovely room & great location

Check in poor. Couldn't drop off a case early. Had to fill complicated online form at the last minute to get room number and access code. Non attended reception. When got the code it didn't work. Took 35 minutes to check in. Room good though, modern and well located

Not a hotel just rooms to let with poor service
I booked this place long before staying when Covid was bad so having a contactless check in seemed ok. It i sn’t. There is no one to deal with any problems and their attitude is poor when they show up the next day. On arrival you are greeted by a pitch black corridor with no lights on until you enter it. There could be someone in it waiting but you can’t see at all. The room was hot when we arrived in the afternoon and the air conditioner was off. We turned it on but the air conditioner was very weak and unable to cool the room. Their response was you can set the thermostat to whatever you want and it blows cool air if you stand under it so what’s your problem. It just couldn’t cool the relatively large room. We had to open the window to cool the place down at around 11 PM after being tired of sweating and calling them. The tv didn’t work properly either but I didn’t even attempt to deal with them on that. After one night we just left and went elsewhere.

Great hotel despite a few areas of improvement
The Bergamo Inn 43 is in a great location, the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the space very clean. There were a few growth areas to note: - the pre-check-in took a few tries as the system required an Italian tax id# which I don't possess -we only received refills on our coffee capsules one of out of two days -we ran out of toilet paper the last day - we thought reception was supposed to be onsite but we never saw anyone (had a couple of questions) -we couldn't leave our bags at the hotel while we explored before our departure flight (no one to ask about this because the staff wasn't available over the weekend to respond to questions onsite or via telephone/email
