Located in the Lost Trails neighborhood, you will feel like you’re in the most remote parts of the mountains while being a short drive to Town Center and Big Sky Resort. This home is located halfway between Town Center and Big Sky Resort, so both are a 10 to 15-minute drive in either direction.

During the summer months, you’re a 10-minute drive to Town Center where you’ll enjoy events like Music in the Mountains and the Farmer’s Market. Let Backcountry Safaris plan your trip to Yellowstone National Park while you enjoy the mountain views and animal sightings. If you are looking for breakfast before heading into the park, ask the tour guide to make a stop at Mountain Mamas for freshly made coffee, wild game breakfast burritos, and pastries. Pick up a mountain bike at Grizzly Outfitters and venture out to some local trails. We highly recommend Uplands and Hummocks in Town Center.
In the winter, you’re 15 minutes away from Big Sky Resort’s 5,850 skiable acres. Rent your skis with Ramshorn Outdoors or ask our Guest Services Team about how to ship your skis to Montana! Hit the town in the evening and check out the local events in the Town Center. Some great places to check out are Blue Buddha, The Waypoint, and Tips Up. If you’re looking for a dinner experience, we highly recommend Lone Mountain Ranch’s sleigh ride dinners.

We highly recommend 4-wheel drive with winter tires in the winter months (Oct-May). We don't believe it's a necessity for the summer months but do find it a good idea! Lucky for you, we offer all guests that book with us discounts for rentals in Bozeman!
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!
