This three-story, four-bedroom cabin sits in the shadow of Lone Mountain and the Spanish Peaks mountains. Featuring unique, exposed log walls and ceilings, freshly redone hardwood floors, and spaces decorated with ski-lodge decor, this cabin offers rustic sensibilities alongside plenty of modern conveniences.
Soak in the 8-person outdoor hot tub and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Gather together in the living room and warm yourselves by the wood-burning replace as you relax on the cozy sofa, leather armchair, or in the hand-crafted rocker. Adjacent to the living space there's a dining table with chairs for six and a breakfast bar attached to the well-equipped, full kitchen.
Prepare delicious, home-cooked meals in this gourmet kitchen with polished countertops, drawers and cabinets stocked with essential cookware and utensils, and an array of stainless-steel appliances including a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, and slow cooker! There's also a gas grill out on the deck for those wishing to spice up their menu with a few barbecued treats!
There are two master suites, both furnished with log-frame, king-size beds, and both with en suite, full baths. One guest room has a queen, while the remaining room has two bunks making it ideal for all the kids. There's also a sofabed available in the lower-level TV room. With four bedrooms and three baths, this home sleeps up to 10 guests very comfortably.
SUMMER:
Yellowstone National Park is only a 50-mile scenic drive away. Close enough for day trips to view incredible wildlife and geography. Other outdoor summer activities include hiking, downhill and cross country mountain-biking, fly fishing, golfing, horseback riding, zip lines, rope courses, kayaking and white water rafting! Or head down the mountain into the heart of Big Sky for shopping and dining just a few miles away.
WINTER: Ski-in/ ski-out to Big Sky Resort, which has over 5800 acres of terrain, 23 lifts, more than 300 trails spanning 4 mountains. Very little to no lift lines and trails to suit every level of skier/rider. Minutes to Nordic skiing at Lone Mountain Ranch, which offers more than 80+ acres of groomed trails. Other activities include ice-skating, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling.
Ski Out: The ski out trail runs right next to the garage where a groomed trail takes you to the White Otter chair lift. (Green access)
Ski In: From the top of the Swift Current lift, ski down to Lower Morningstar to the first set of Powder Ridge signs on the left. Follow the signs for Rosebud Access skier bridge, followed by the sign to Chief Gull, followed by the turn to Buffalo Hide.
