Featuring unique, exposed log walls and ceilings, freshly redone hardwood floors, and spaces decorated with ski-lodge decor, this cabin offers rustic sensibilities alongside plenty of modern conveniences.

Soak in the 8-person outdoor hot tub and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Gather together in the living room and warm yourselves by the wood-burning replace as you relax on the cozy sofa, leather armchair, or in the hand-crafted rocker. Adjacent to the living space there's a dining table with chairs for six and a breakfast bar attached to the well-equipped, full kitchen.

Prepare delicious, home-cooked meals in this gourmet kitchen with polished countertops, drawers and cabinets stocked with essential cookware and utensils, and an array of stainless-steel appliances including a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, and slow cooker! There's also a gas grill out on the deck for those wishing to spice up their menu with a few barbecued treats!

There are two master suites, both furnished with log-frame, king-size beds, and both with en suite, full baths. One guest room has a queen, while the remaining room has two bunks making it ideal for all the kids. There's also a sofabed available in the lower-level TV room. With four bedrooms and three baths, this home sleeps up to 10 guests very comfortably.

SUMMER:
Yellowstone National Park is only a 50-mile scenic drive away. Close enough for day trips to view incredible wildlife and geography. Other outdoor summer activities include hiking, downhill and cross country mountain-biking, fly fishing, golfing, horseback riding, zip lines, rope courses, kayaking and white water rafting! Or head down the mountain into the heart of Big Sky for shopping and dining just a few miles away.

WINTER: Ski-in/ ski-out to Big Sky Resort, which has over 5800 acres of terrain, 23 lifts, more than 300 trails spanning 4 mountains. Very little to no lift lines and trails to suit every level of skier/rider. Minutes to Nordic skiing at Lone Mountain Ranch, which offers more than 80+ acres of groomed trails. Other activities include ice-skating, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling.

Ski Out: The ski out trail runs right next to the garage where a groomed trail takes you to the White Otter chair lift. (Green access)

Ski In: From the top of the Swift Current lift, ski down to Lower Morningstar to the first set of Powder Ridge signs on the left. Follow the signs for Rosebud Access skier bridge, followed by the sign to Chief Gull, followed by the turn to Buffalo Hide.

Beautiful Ski-in Ski out cabin
This place is amazing. Very clean and spacious for a large family. Owners were very accommodating and even mailed us back little woof woof (a special stuffed dog) that accidentally got left behind. Great location, skied in for lunch everyday and made taking turns watching the little one easy. We will definitely return! The slopes were amazing and great for beginning skiers and perfect for the advanced one too! Thank you!

Great location for ski out
2 families - 4 adults and 4 children ranging from age 11-15. Great access for ski out. Ski in was a little trickier - instructions seemed to be missing a couple steps involving the Bozeman trail. Also the fees advertised were a little misleading. Cleaning and service fees added significant charges. Overall a nice place and met our family’s needs.

Wonderful place to stay
This place was perfect for our group of 6 adults! We loved the 8 person hot tub! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Each couple had their own floor for privacy and to spread out! I would love to stay here again during the winter months for skiing.

Detour from Yellowstone floods
We needed a rental asap after Yellowstone closed the day before we were supposed to arrive. This house was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the houses surrounding were getting new roofs so it was a loud construction zone. That's not the fault of the owner but would have liked to have been made aware. We stayed at the house for three nights. Because the summer activities opened yet and most of the trails were still closed b/c of spring snow, we spent a lot of time at the house. It was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults.

Awesome ski weekend location
The property was great, tons of space for 6 folks on a long ski weekend. 4 BRs over 3 floors gave us plenty of room to spread out. The Ski in/out access was easy to find, actually, the ski-out lift closed 3 days before our arrival, but they had a car service that picked us up from the front door daily. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for whipping up our daily meals. The hot tub was great for relaxing after hitting the slopes and the view from the 2nd deck was amazing.

Perfect Big Sky Ski Chalet
This ski in & out cabin was perfect for our spring break ski trip. The home is immaculate and has the perfect ambiance for enjoying the Big Sky mountain. The hot tub & grill added to the experience. We never went to the village as everything we needed was at the house. We look forward to returning to Montana and would recommend this home for your next visit to Big Sky.

Fantastic home in an ideal location. Awesome value!
Our group of 6 men couldn't have been happier with our stay in this home. This home is beautiful and in fantastic condition. It is well stocked with supplies including kitchen supplies, firewood, bath products, sleds, wifi, towels and much more. The hot tub on the back porch was piping hot, clean and freshly filled. The two ski closets on the porch allowed us to keep our equipment safe without taking up room in the house. Thermostats around the house helped ensure every room was at a comfortable temperature. Incredible ski in/out location. You can literally ski right out of the yard down a cat track to the chair 200 yards away and ski back to the house down a different cat track. This home was the perfect house for our guys trip and would also be great for 2-3 families with 4-6 kids.
