I'm really conflicted about this review. We stayed there twice about a week apart. Overall the motel was clean and pleasant. However, the second time, around 1 am, our fire alarm started to beep loudly. I got up and noticed that it was hanging from the wall and there were no batteries in it. It has always been my experience that when the batteries are removed most alarms will beep, but we had been in the room for several hours with it being silent. I went to the front desk and mentioned the issue. The woman on duty was very understanding and reset the main fire control panel. But, we still got the beeping. I went back to the front desk and she came to the room with someone on the phone. Between all of us, we managed to disconnect the alarm. However, my wife and I received less than a restful night of sleep. Then, when we checked out, even though I had paid in full in advance, we were charged an additional $2 for some reason. So, we paid the full amount, and an additional $2, when the right thing to do would have been to refund our night's stay. Again, I don't know why the alarm didn't start beeping until the middle of the night, but I suspect that the occupant of the room previously, for some reason, took the batteries out of the unit. Very puzzling experience.

Rooms have been nicely remodeled, but could use some work. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly (it stuck). Otherwise clean and fairly quiet. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room. No one irons anymore so no need for full sized iron and ironing board.

Good: Clean rooms good sheets and clean bathroom, recently renovated, good breakfast. Bad: Door jams and would not close easily or open easily, security plate where the bolt goes was was busted causing the door to stick. The side door opposite the main entrance was unlocked and could enter without scanning. Someone came by late at night and jiggled door handles in multiple rooms. Location is poor with few amenities nearby.

The front desk clerk was horrible, I had to show my gf's drivers license but she doesn't have a driver's license. I went to get cups from her and she was only going to give me 2 I finally got 4 out of her. The TV doesn't work at all. I had to park in the handicap because no other was available. I was made too move my car because I put it in "employee only" I guess the clerk can't walk. Terrible motel but it was cheap.
