Nice hotel if you can get a good room especially on a high floor. Nice views. The staff kept putting me in rooms with connecting doors to another room and rooms with no heat. Then they claimed the hotel had no more rooms available to change to, but I do not think the hotel was full. They seem to have a problem with the heating system. Many of the rooms I was shown had no warm air from the vent at all and some were cold. I had to spend 2 nights in rooms without heat. I strongly suggest checking for hot air from the vent before renting a room here. My room key would also stop working and I had to go to the front desk to get it renewed. This happened several times. A maintenance worker also broke into the room with a crowbar breaking the security latch. He did not knock or ask if anyone was in the room. This would be such a nice hotel if the hotel staff were better. Maybe the best hotel in Billings. I hope they can replace some people so that it is the great hotel that it should be.

Nice centrally located hotel in downtown Billings. Close to lots of bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping. Easy drive to the Metra and MSU-Billings. The hotel itself is ok; you are definitely paying for location and amenities.

Understaffed, breakfast hours were not as advertised, room coffee maker was dirty, lotion bottle was pulled out of wall in bathroom, heater was very loud. No place to grab coffee in the hotel after 10:00 am. Would recommend staying at the Northern Hotel one block down the street instead.

This is not a swanky hotel and honestly it’s pretty average BUT the staff here is just amazing and sets this hotel apart from others in Billings. They make the experience so very nice. The drivers of the cookie van shuttle are awesome, desk clerks are helpful, housekeeping is great, restaurant staff are polite and the bar staff downstairs make you feel welcome as a solo traveler. This hotel is smack downtown so most everything that you would need is within walking distance. City views from the rooms are pretty nice if you get high enough up. Jake’s steakhouse is across the street and is probably one of the best in town. I stay at this hotel when I’m just flying in and out of Billings. If I had a car, I wouldn’t stay downtown.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Some peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Also, there is a door stop on the floor right outside the tub, and it's really easy to forget about it and stub your toe.
