The apartment itself is on the 1st floor up one flight of stairs. It features 12 ft tall ceilings, interior brick walls and an open floor concept. Built in 1890, you can feel the history of this space, combined with the modern-industrial design as soon as you enter.
The kitchen features a stainless steel island perfect for cook prep and sit-down meals. The open concept allows your group to gather in the living room TV / kitchen / dining area all together with plenty of space and seating to go around.
The 200 sq. ft patio is spacious and features a hammock and sitting area that is great for reading and relaxing.
The main bedroom features a queen sized bed while the second bed (also queen size) is located "studio-style" on one side of the living area. There are dresser drawers and a hanging rack for clothes storage.
The main bathroom has a shower, toilet and full size vanity. Towels, soaps, shampoos/conditioners are fully stocked. If desired or helpful, there is a second bathroom available for use (just a toilet not a shower) located in the buildings common hallway area.

Safely located in the heart of Binghamton's lively & historic downtown district just seconds from some of the nicest restaurants and attractions in town. Within a 5-minute walk you will find fine dining, casual lunch dining, diners, coffee shops, retail shopping, shopping boutiques, wine shops, cocktail bars, beer on tap, rooftop bars, speakeasies, convenience stores, the performing arts theatre, the downtown hockey stadium, the downtown baseball stadium and the Greyhound Bus Station. Perfectly located to enjoy Binghamton's First Friday art showcase events on the first Friday of each month. Binghamton University is a short 10-minute drive, with a bus stop just out front of the building. Interstates 81, 86, and 88 are within a 5-minute drive. Binghamton Airport is 15 minutes away and Syracuse Airport is about 1 hour. Bus station across the street.
Please note: This location is safe - I live on the top floor of this building and park my car out back and have never had any issues. Just like any city, there are some curious characters you may see walking around, but I have never had any issues with crime, safety etc.
There is a free parking space included with this listing located in the parking lot directly behind the building. Guests can get around by walking (there are many bars, restaurants, events, shows, activities all within a 5-minute walk). Additionally, there is a bus stop right in front of the building and Uber is also readily available if needed.
To access the space you will park in the parking lot behind the building. You will be provided lock codes for entry. The apartment is up one flight of stairs.
1) NO SMOKING IN LOFT: VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT AND AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO "DE-SMOKE" THE LOFT.
2) NO PARTIES: $150 PER ADDITIONAL GUEST PER NIGHT WILL BE CHARGED FOR GUESTS THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED ON THE RESERVATION. THERE ARE HALLWAY AND PARKING LOT CAMERAS INSTALLED TO MONITOR THIS ACTIVITY.
3) All visitors to the loft must be approved by host - simple text / communication is fine. I am okay with visitors as long as they are communicated and there are not parties.
4) Quiet hours between 10PM and 8AM - this includes no loud music
5) No Shoes in the loft - please remove shoes in the entryway
6) If you check in later than 9PM please let me know. I may not be available to help with any unforeseen check in troubles after this time
