great short trip from sg
stayed for 4d3n in the upper garden suite. room was extremely spacious with living and balcony. could have a few more ceiling lights to brighten up the room. layout of the resort was spread out with lots of greenery and we liked that. 2 bikes for each room but we also used the buggy on hot days. staff service was great and attentive. they responded fast to whatsapp messages and all staff we met were friendly. we stayed during low occupancy so everything felt very private. the next few days we saw more guests. breakfast was delicious. food at rica rica was really small in serving in comparison to the high price. we did not try the complimentary non-motorised activities. however we enjoyed the pool, earth basket (lots of mosquitoes there) and went on the snorkelling trip. we also walked on the beach at low tide. only 2 hooks in the bathroom which we could not use cos they were directly above the toiletries bottles. be prepared for lots of mosquitoes esp at earth basket and the balcony. long journey from ferry terminal but you get a serene environment when you arrive.

Secluded and Very friendly. Beaches were clean and so was the surrounding area. Loved the bikes, but unfortunately could not use as there were no kid seats, but luckily easy to walk around. As we were close to all theaon amenities.

This is a nice little lux property that spans over quite a lot of land, so even if it is full, one doesnt feel the crowd. Service is good and I like that they are mostly very organised.

Fantastic resort, very tranquil and relaxing. There are more activities to do there than shared online. But the plus side of it being isolated and a great place for rest and rejuvenation is also its downside. The location is quite far from most of the main attractions which are on the western side of the island, making it quite inconvenient if you want to get around or do tours. A fantastic place if staying in a resort to relax for your trip is your primary (and maybe only) goal, but think twice if youā€™re the kind of traveler who enjoys exploring local attractions, cultures and people.
