The Space:
The Coast 2 by Tiny Away i is located in the small town of Birchfield - South Island New Zealand, 16 minutes from the nearest Westport accommodation, perfectly set on 6 HA of land with any location for a tiny house. Cape Foulwind, Carters Beach, and 2 hours away from the Southern Alpine mountain park, Nelson Lakes National Park.

What's more, we're just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks and a great base for exploring Paparoa National Park. The coast is dotted with lush coastal forests, incredible limestone cliffs and canyons, mysterious caves, pristine rivers, and spectacular coastlines.

A comfortable 139 square-feet tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be a second tiny home called "The Coast 1" that sits on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including direct access from the access road.

The Coast 2 by Tiny Away sits in a small town in Birchfield - South Island New Zealand, 16 minutes from the nearest Westport accommodation close to beaches, scenic sites, bushwalking, and mountain biking trails. Located just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks, and not far from Paparoa National Park: kayaking, horse trekking, rafting, and nature tours are a just few of the things you can do.

Our local recommendations:

- Nelson Lakes National Park offers stunning glacial lakes, rugged peaks, and forests.
- Cape Foulwind has a rocky headland and a viewpoint overlooking a New Zealand fur seal breeding colony.
- Paparoa National Park is famous for the Pancake Rocks and blowholes near Punakaiki, near Dolomite Point.
- Carters Beach is a suburb of Westport that offers spectacular scenery, a sandy swimming beach, shops, and more.
- Seal Colony Tauranga Bay is short walk with spectacular ocean views, steeple rocks, and a large year-round fur seal colony.

Other Things to Note:
- Firewood is $50 per tub
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have good mobile reception on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
