The Space:
Guests will take the alleyway and park on the backside of the house. Climb the exterior stairs, and enter the small porch to find the door with a digital keypad.
Upon entry, you will find yourself in the fully-equipped kitchen with ample counter space and room to move around while preparing meals. Through the kitchen is the dining room with a farm table, two benches, and two chairs. The dining room has a door that provides access to the front porch.
Straight off the dining room is the first and only bedroom on the main floor; it features a king bed and an ornamental fireplace. Right of the dining room, at the end of the hall, is the first full bathroom with a stand-up shower and the back staircase leading to the additional bedrooms and bathroom. Left of the dining room is the entryway office nook with a desk, the main staircase, and the living room with a full sofa bed, two armchairs, a SmartTV, and an ornamental fireplace.
At the top of the main staircase is a futon, perfect for groups that need extra sleeping space. The first bedroom upstairs, across from the futon, features an ornamental fireplace, a full bed, and a twin bed. Down the hall, you will find a second bedroom featuring a full bed, a twin bed, an ornamental fireplace, and a SmartTV. The third bedroom upstairs features two full beds. The last bedroom has one full bed. The other full bathroom with a shower is at the end of the hall.
Patio furniture and a grill are available on the back patio.
Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the back door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located 1 mile from Birmingham CrossPlex with easy access to I-20. We are very close to restaurants and grocery options.
Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!
Other Things to Note:
Some guests have told us that they do not like our neighborhood. We think it is great, and have never had any security issues, but we understand that everyone has different experiences and want to make sure you are comfortable in our home. If you are concerned about the neighborhood, we would be happy to talk with you about it, and refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking. We will not provide a refund upon arrival if you decide you do not like the area.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free checkin via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!
