Absolutely disgusting
Horrendous. Beds rubbish; no hot water. No cups etc. would never return. Mould allover the ceilings. Mouldy windows cobwebs everywhere. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in and I stay in hotels every single week for work.

Couldn't have a shower in the morning because the hot water tap and the cold water tap were both hot water. No attempt by management to offer another room for a shower. Window sills and frame had mould on it. Broken mirror Unkempt property

Avoid!!
Room stank of drying paint (quality of paintwork would be abysmal for a 6 year old standard too). Pillows were rock hard due to being old and worn. Both of these issues led to me waking up with a horrific headache that I’ve not shaken off for the whole day. Both the hot and “cold” taps in the sink delivered hot water! It looks like they’ve attempted a renovation on the hotel for about £2.50, and even that would’ve been too much, the standard of workmanship is right up there amongst the worst I’ve ever seen. They’ve tried to polish a turd and ended up with a pile of manure.

Just don't go to this hotel
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all was given a room where the bed had been slept in, was given another room on return, it was dirty. The shower was unclean and there was no hot water. The glass light fitting was fullof dead flies and blue bottles. The kettle had spiders' webs inside and the element was rusty. It was a very uncomfortable night and I left around 7am.

Worst Hotel I Have Stayed In
Worst hotel I have get stayed in, I wouldn’t stay there again under any circumstances. Everything was dirty and broken and the staff were rude and disinterested. A strangely run place, almost like they want it to fall in to disrepair. I cannot express how dirty and mouldy it was.

Budget overnight stay
The hotel looked quite welcoming as we pulled up and parked at the front. Pleasant service at reception. Corridors were clean / hoovered but signs of wear and tear. Our main room was acceptable for a budget price room. It was dated but the bed and pillows were clean and it was very comfortable. The bathroom however was very run down and in need of a facelift - old, worn and dated. The toilet seat was loose the toilet flusher worked, after a few flushes. The shower was old and dirty with black mould around the bottom. So much so we waited to get home to shower.

No frills vfm stay
I simply wanted a room for the night having attended a funeral earlier. Check in and out was simple and the twin room was spacious and comfortable if a little dated. The bathroom was ok and I enjoyed a morning shower with good water pressure. Although there is no food offering the nearby pub offered well priced meals including an all day breakfast. Not a place for a romantic getaway but as a no frills value for money stay it was absolutely fine.

Didn't stay, it was a complete dive. A prison would have been more hospitable. Decoration abysmal, torn carpets, damaged furniture. Sleeping under the stars in a field would be an improvement.

Very poor service, and unable to shower.
Very disappointing accomodation. Advertised free eifi, but when arrived only available in bar. I had to wander around trying 6 different seats to get online. Room very average, no bedside light, bathroom in poor shape. Worst, there was no cold water, the dink, shower and tub cold taps all had hot water, so a shower was impossible as the water was scalding. The front desk clerks didnt appear to realise this was unacceptable and just said there was a plumbing problem. The manager never got back to me.

I was booked to stay there this evening, staying after a 5 and a half hour drive from Scotland before continuing my journey tomorrow. Let me tell you, I have never ever walked out of a hotel in disgust until today! This place is a filthy hovel! First room I entered, 218 , filthy windows, webs andcdirt all over inside, drawers covered in dust, broken toilet seat, smashed tiles behind shower switch AND a dead cockroach on bathroom floor! I didn't even know we had cockroachs in uk! Second room, 113, not any cleaner, except no cockroach and windows a bit clearer. Cockroach = health inspection, they are serving food in this place! I litterly put my bag in second room headed to Marston for a bite to eat and decided I can't stay, I walked bag , grabbed my bags , told reception I can't stay, response was 'ok' Didn't even question why. Clearly I would like to be refunded as this was way below any expectations of anywhere I've stayed. I ended up travelling the rest of my journey and am now knackered. A fast resolution and refunded ASAP please. Should I be reporting this hotel to environmental health? Advice please? Also they had a paper sign at reception saying 'no hot water' which I failed to get a picture of, really, so nobody could get a shower either, if they were brave enough.
