All fine but wouldn’t return.
Our stay was fine, no real complaints but we weren’t particularly blown away either. Our room needed to be hoovered when we first walked in and there were no dressing gowns as listed on the booking. We spoke to reception about both these issues and they were very quick to resolve them. Our patio door didn’t shut properly and was very difficult to manoeuvre. The room was a little tired in places but we had a very comfortable night sleep. The bedlinen and towels all felt very clean. Food was good too. Although dog friendly, it felt more that dogs were tolerated rather than welcomed. Staff were helpful.

Hoped for better
On arrival our room had 1 chair rather than a sofa as pictured online. We requested a different room with a sofa which was no issue. 1st night in the room was so cold hats were worn in bed! It turns out the room had been set by the hotel to cold rather than hot with no facility to change in the room. 2nd night there was a party in the room next door. Didn't feel we could knock for fear of retaliation and didn't want to put the staff at risk so put up with it until 1.30am. Not the hotel at fault particularly for this one but bear in mind it's a popular wedding venue so you might not have a quiet night. Breakfast was very good and the staff very polite and friendly. Overall a reasonable stay but not quite worth the money for the room.

Could find very little to fault with our stay at Hogarths. The staff are all delightful and service is very good. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Will definitely want go return there.

Disappointing and not up to the rating
This was my second stay this year (first trip was in June in the new part). At first glance, the room looked good and bigger than my previous stay (this time I was in the room called Winter) and had a lovely sofa and separate armchair, plus dual aspect windows. However, the pleasant feeling quickly disappeared when the Nespresso machine (which is hidden under the TV in a cabinet) hadn't been replenished with new pods. The bowl was empty. I went to look at the in-room tablet, as I had used it the last time I stayed, and it wasnt working. On trying to turn it on I realised the battery was dead despite it sitting on the charging dock. So i tried the charger in a different plug to the left of the desk and it still didnt work, so then i tried a completely different 2-plug socket and it started charging - so the other plug socket obviously is faulty. I sat on the bed and saw the "tell us how we did card" - i went to fill it in and found that it was the one left behind by the previous guests in the room. They had been in the December room but asked to be moved due to an event, however, they still werent happy in Winter based on the feedbakc they left. I gave it to the woman on check out this morning, explaining that it was left by the previous guests but she didnt seem to understand that I wasnt happy and that the room was obviously not turned over properly, so I just left. It was my second stay and I was hoping to see some improvements but it wasn't good...

Bang average, stayed in better Premier Inns. My chalet smelt of sewage, was cold and lots of flying insects! Food was decent, £20 for a wagu burger but service wasnt the best.
