Perfect family stay in Hoover
We booked this stay for a sports tournament in Birmingham. Perfect place for the whole family outside of the city. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Very nice place to stay.
I did like the place. It was clean and orderly. The drive way sits on a steep hill. I didn’t care for that. The property manager was very prompt in responding to any and all of my messages. I appreciated that very much.

My husband said this was a “dump”
We had five nights reserved because we were in town for an event I ended up not being able to go so husband and teenage son went and only stayed one night. They said it was terrible. I’m only leaving a semi nice review because I’m also a property owner and Know how much negative property reviews hurt you. A refund and it was promptly refused. I do not recommend

Quick get-away
The area and home was nice and quiet. Not to far from a mall and restaurants. I wasn't aware of the curvy & hilly roads, it tested my driving skills. Next time I'm in the area I would stay at the home again.

The location served the purpose for which I rented it and that was a baseball tournament at Hoover Met. The photos portrayed on VRBO is different than the actual location. It needs some updates. The back yard is nothing like portrayed. The water pressure to shower was not good. I was disappointed but it did serve the purpose.

Nice Older Property
We were in town for a basketball tournament and needed an alternative to a hotel. This was a nice alternative. It is an older well home in a quiet neighborhood. No bells and whistles. It’s not a place that I would recommend hosting or entertaining but for a small family as an alternative to a hotel it was fine. I would recommend that the owner provide their guest with a full size ironing board. I know it’s small but it’s a very inexpensive way to add one additional convenience.

It was very dark outside and we did not expect how difficult it would be to unload car. We are in our late sixties, so that was a struggle. Overall, it was a nice stay..

Do not book with host
When we showed up they beds were freshly slept in. It looked as if people had just woke up and left. Cigarette butts, beer, dirty dishes a d clothes. I couldn’t contact the customer and my kids were hungry so I went to get pizza and when I arrived back, my family was upstairs because they heard people coming in and out of the house. They had our code to get in. We left immediately for my family’s safety. The host said they’ll do a full refund when we finally spoke later that night. 1 month later and we still have not received the refund. I’m searching for a way to report this fraud or to have Vrbo refund me but no luck yet.
