I wouldn't
Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option to give. Positives are it is in a great location and the shower is decent. Sadly, the positives end there. Even the well-pressured shower comes with a lovely view of black mould around the ceiling. If the springy mattress isn't enough to keep you up most of the night, the pungent smell of cat litter most definitely will. It could be a great hotel but needs a huge renovation. The £5 parking charge is also ridiculous.

Prepaid to reserve parking but there were no spaces when we arrived so had to go and find parking elsewhere. Rooms are clean and very basic but that was expected. Breakfast was again basic and a bit underwhelming in quality. Staff were very friendly though, they offered us the breakfast free as they couldn't refund us the car park because it's managed by a third party company.

Staff were delightful! But … Mattress was awful - collapsed on impact; TV was so small, and far away from the bed, that it looked like an iPhone screen; Shower dribbled out some water; Blinds on the windows did not keep out the light; Windows may as well not have been there, given the noise; Only stayed 2 nights, out of the 4 pre-booked and paid for.

No baggage storage !!
No baggage storage. Seems ridiculous for a hotel to not offer it especially with all the space they have. Very inflexible. Caused a lot of stress if you are traveling and have tickets to a football match.

Good location. Paid parking. Bar excellent. Shower worked well. Clean and bed comfortable. However, in need of a spruce up. No pictures on the walls and just felt dated. £82 for a Friday night stay. So cheapish, and I guess you get what you pay for.

I stayed at the redwings lodge hotel for 1 night. It was an awful experience, the hotel tends to accommodate prostitutes and drug users. Very smelly and dirty. I was planning on staying for 4 nights, but then had to find somewhere else. Rooms smell, sheets and towels had stains on them. Door were slammed throughout the night.
