I wanted a room from the 31st -1st from last night and when I paid for it the dates changed on the system to 1st - 2nd which I didn’t want so I spoke to the Expedia support team which I was told they will leave a message on the system for redwing to issue me a refund for the booking which was the wrong booking and I was told to rebook again a pay for another room so redwing could refund me for the room with the wrong dates and now they are not even trying to refund me !

Rusty toilet fittings , health hazard
The disabled room we were in was a health hazard. All the grab bars had been previously painted, this had then gone rusty and the rust had gone down the wall. This was a serious hazard and totally unacceptable especially since it was in a disabled room
The wall plate is completely rusted
The rust is running down the wall
Same as above

This is a very basic hotel, so you do get what you pay for, however, there is a big problem with other guests and noise from the car park. There isn't a barrier or anything to the car park, so anyone can get in and all three of the nights I stayed, there were people just hanging out in the car park being incredibly loud. Other guests were also extremely loud, having parties and running around the corridors, which is not the fault of the hotel, however there should be a way to contact reception from the room to let the staff know. There's also a bit of a lack of communication, I accidentally booked too few nights so did a separate booking for an extra night and was assured I could stay in the same room. I had a knock at the door on the day my original booking would have run out to say I needed to vacate the room. I explained everything and the lady wrote it down. I went out for the day, and came back and my key card had been deactivated. I spoke to reception who activated it again but said if my stuff isn't there it would be in the back...cue panicked running down to the room to check everything is still there (luckily it was but I was worried someone would have had to pack my dirty clothes!). I will say that despite all this, it was very clean (although on one of the days my room had been cleaned and they took away my toilet paper and didn't replace it...) and the staff are all very friendly.

We would like a refund. The room was really dirty and smelt really bad. The hotel was really noisy. There was a problem with the water pump in. The room above or adjacent, so every time they used the bathroom our room vibrated and was so noisy. Would not recommend.

I' like the hotel and staff but i find the mattress very soft. Its like sleeping on a waterbed. I generally stay at the Redwings as i have sports tournaments in the area and i need a good night sleep. The soft mattress keeps me awake all night as it is very uncomfortable.

I liked the fact it was a great place to stay and it's centrally located. But one thing I was upset was that the WiFi stopped working the night before I left up to the next day. But overall they are Good but can do BETTER 😃
