Great place to stay in the Eastern Sierras

We stayed here on the way to Lake Tahoe from LA. Our room was on the second floor room at the back of the property overlooking the creek. It was clean and quiet. The common areas have the feel of a mountain lodge and are very cozy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is on the Main Street of Bishop, the staff were very polite and efficient. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was wonderful with lots of water pressure. Our room came with breakfast which was nice, there was plenty of choices and it was pretty good. Close by the hotel is Erick Schat's Bakery which I’ve been told is a not to be missed. Sadly I didn’t know this until after we headed for home.

Really nice hotel, very clean and nice room. Well kept. The breakfast was great. The staff were very professional. There was a creaky noise in our rooms, probably from the wood or the heater. The TV was on the older side, but not a big deal for us.

A little hiccup...

It was very nice until we experienced no hot water for our shower on the 2nd night. My husband has to ask for some compensation due to the inconvenience. We traveled with 2 teens and just came back from an all day snow boarding. It was very uncomfortable without hor shower. Eventually, we did get 1 night free from the hotel. That was nice because we had stayed at the hotel before. We came back because we want to enjoy the wonderful pool area and outdoor scenery that the hotel has.

Great stay!

Really nice fireside seating and outdoor design. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. As far as free hotel buffet breakfasts this is the best I’ve seen.

The location was great, next to the most famous bakery in town. The lobby ambiance was nice. The rooms were big enough and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was so bad, they were not serving enough food, not enough plates or utensils, not even enough bread, and people had to wait a long time to get a clean plate and the food was just very simple and ok. There was no room service during our stay and whenever we requested room service, the answer was that because of holidays it's an employee appreciation they don't clean the rooms until the day we check out!!!!!

Cozy and scenic in Bishop!

We loved everything about our room from the bed to the sitting area, the cozy robes to wear to the hot tub, and the patio with a view to the trees and stream. Outstanding all around. Oh yeah -- plus a coffee maker in the room and breakfast in the restaurant.
