Hotel in the Pines with Lake View
We arrived around 6:30 pm. The young man in reception worked out our problem of our prior room request being cancelled. We received tips on where to go for local swimming, and made it back for a most delicious dinner. The sleep was very comfortable. Morning dining room gals were gracious and we got coffee to go and hit the road. Would stay here again.
our wing of the hotel was brand-new (& on the first floor--yay, didn't have to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs :)

Bedroom smells like new. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. The sink is small and if you need room service you need to let the staff know. Easy self check-in, comfortable beds and conveniently located near a grocery store, gas station and some local restaurants.

Easy access to Thingvellir park. Very small room with a very small bathroom. Have to go to front desk for a hairdryer. A good budget option for those looking for a hotel in close proximity to one of the parks.

What a wonderful little place to stay with a great view. The food was phenomenal. The Staff was incredibly friendly. The bed was the softest i have had in the past 2 weeks of travel. I would certainly return again. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

We only stayed there for one night. The staff was super helpful. Property is basic with right level of comfort. There was some weird smell in the bathroom though. Breakfast is good too.

Clean facilities, the area we were in seems recently renovated. Mostly friendly staff. But room is very small. I am a small person and was cramped in the room and especially in the bathroom - I wondered how taller people could sit on the toilet. Also, no TV, fridge, or kettle in room though coffee, tea, water available in dining room. Overall given the size and minimal amenities, I thought value for the price is on lower side.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this place. The location is perfect, situated conveniently between major sites, making it easy to explore the area. The host is great and very friendly, and the staff is lovely and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and parking right outside was a plus. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a few additional room comforts would have made it even better. Some hangers or hooks for clothes, as well as a hairdryer and kettle in the room, would be great additions. Overall, we strongly recommend this place to everyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay with friendly hosts and a great location!
