Our lake view room was absolutely beautiful and we felt very comfortable here, however the cost of the stay was extremely high and we were a little bit let down by the chaos at breakfast and the general busy vibe which we were not expecting from what we thought would be a relaxing spa hotel. The swimming areas were equally chaotic with children playing etc and this was not the impression we got upon booking as the photos show a very calm spa hotel vibe.

Air conditioning simply did not work. I would not stay here if the outside temperature was anywhere in the mid-20’s or above. Staff adjusted the thermostat when we go to the room, again when we complained after the first night and were unable to deliver a fan that they committed to providing. Clearly an issue they were aware off across all rooms based on responses. Unhelpful. I took the mattress off the bed and slept on the balcony. That is not a joke. Room may have been 32 degrees. 5 stars for having a balcony big enough to fit a mattress…

Amazing property. Super walkable to everything. Easy parking. Highly recommend. Only issue was the air conditioning did not suffice. It was on full blast and could not cool the room down.

Loved the overall property. Rooms pretty nice although the A/C is not strong enough so our room was too hot every night. The hotel is huge with lots of wellness except no gym which is odd when they have spa, 4 pools etc. one thing needs attention is breakfast. The 2 coffee machines are either too slow or they need another one. Every morning there is a queue for the machines and that means people getting in each others way trying to walk around breakfast. Also the toaster is terrible and takes forever. Small things that can make a difference.

Air conditioning didn’t function properly in either room. We reported but not interested. Bathroom awkward as door opens inwards, shower poor,housekeeping average, not interested in sorting room, had to ask for towels, toilet rolls etc. breakfast buffet poor, tinned fruit etc eggs omelettes and waffles good. Pool area and slide very good but they let in loads of kids about 6pm and was busy and unpleasant. Need to use am and early afternoon.Had to pay 10 euros per day parking and then they opened to public 30 euros for a few hours so a struggle to park. Needs paint, new carpets, weeds removed from gutters. The location was good however near to lake and everything needed, just a very average stay

Clean, contemporary hotel. Beautiful view of Lake Bled. Convenient to walking the lake and east drive into Ljubejana. One issue was air conditioning. When we asked about it, we were told it only went to a certain temperature which left the room warm and somewhat uncomfortable for sleeping.

We had a good stay at the Rikli Balance Hotel. Very clean and great location and we really enjoyed the pool in the late afternoons. Bedrooms were very comfortable and we also made good use of the breakfasts. A few issues we had were the fridge was broken in our room and air con could have been stronger. There was also times where staff were not very friendly and not always wanting to help. This was not always the case as some people we spoke to were really good but on the last day I had to carry my partners bags down as he was out and staff at the reception desk just stared at me as I struggled with the bags. Small things like this I found frustrating but overall a good visit.

What a place! The hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, modern, well planned and the attention to detail was clear. The facilities at the hotel were fantastic. Shame the sauna isn’t included but we enjoyed using both the indoor and outdoor pools as well as seating area and even the flume! Situated in the perfect location, not too far from the lake or the many restaurants. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful, informative, friendly and went above and beyond. We would absolutely return to both Bled and this hotel.

Beautiful lobby & was definitely worth paying for the view of the lake for my room. Definitely some things that could be improved. Eggs at breakfast were usually cold, so I suggest you get the omelette. Staff at breakfast varied. The women seemed to work quickly to clear the tables (often there weren’t enough in the mornings for all the guests due to corporate events that reserved tables at breakfast time). The male staff were slow to clear tables and spent most of time time talking with each other instead of preparing more tables. I’d also recommend you have more tables set up at breakfast time for 1 or 2 people. Most travelers seem to be in couples but you only have tables for 4 set up which is not as useful. WiFi is terrible- so I hope you don’t need to use it when you stay. When it rains, pool area leaks. Not the end of the world as you’re in the pool section but did mean people had to walk around the drips or love their chairs. Pool area access with a key card makes sense, but I had trouble exiting every time I tried to leave. Had to have a member of staff use their staff card to let me out- which would have been fine if there was a member of staff at the desk, but they were usually over chatting with the staff at the wellness area. I had a DND sign on my door one day, and still had someone knock and use their card to enter my room. I went to the door and said ‘no housekeeping today please’. They entered anyway and said they had to check my price list for mini bar.
