Charming duplex apartment south facing, in a century old family house, stone tufa, typical of Touraine.
This apartment on the first floor of the house, under the ancient beams, has 2 bedrooms, sleeps 5 + cot. The decor is neat, very cozy. You have a private parking and a small enclosed garden next to the parking.
At the edge of fields 3km from the village. The village touches the city of Chenonceaux, built on a bridge of Cher. In the village, a supervised beach allows rest, tanning and swimming. There is also a municipal swimming pool for sporty naguers.
The road access from home is easy, by roads redone and motorway exit 1 km from the village.

Les atouts: le calme de la campagne, et peu de route Ć  faire pour visiter tout ce qui fait l'intĆ©rĆŖt de cette rĆ©gion , un gĆ®te spacieux et lumineux. Les points faibles: coin cusine et salle de bains minuscules. La propriĆ©taire, fort sympathique au demeurant, n'habite pas la rĆ©gion et dĆ©lĆØgue l'entretien. Il n' y a pas un seul produit de mĆ©nage sur place, peut-ĆŖtre dans un petit placard verrouillĆ© sous l'Ć©vier ? La propretĆ© laisse Ć  dĆ©sirer: table Ć  manger sale, vaisselle mal lavĆ©e, casseroles grasses... Quand on vient pour deux nuits, on n'apporte pas ses produits avec soi. et le gĆ®te est isolĆ©: pas de magasins Ć  moins de retourner Ć  Amboise. Un dĆ©tergent mĆ©nager basique, Ć  disposition des locataires suffirait.

SĆ©jour court mais agrĆ©able. La rĆ©gion donne envie de s'y attarder bien plus qu'une journĆ©e. Le gĆ®te est gĆ©ographiquement trĆØs bien placĆ© par rapport aux diffĆ©rents sites touristiques. Le gĆ®te est agrĆ©able et chaleureux. Difficile de dire plus... notre sĆ©jour fut bref. Les enfants ont adorĆ©, ils s'y sont sentis tout de suite trĆØs bien. Petite remarque de nos prĆ©-ados : la chambre d'enfant elle fait trop "enfant" :-) Au plaisir de dĆ©couvrir plus longuement la Tourraine.

Nous avons passĆ© un sĆ©jour trĆØs agrĆ©able dans ce gĆ®te, dans un environnement calme et reposant. Emplacement parfait pour visiter les chĆ¢teaux et le zoo de Beauval. Jolie dĆ©co, trĆØs cosy, surtout le soir. L'amĆ©nagement du petit jardin serait un vrai plus. Je le recommande.
