Spacious but Temperature Not Comfortable
I recently stayed at this property and, while it had potential, there were a few significant issues that I could not overlook. The property was generally well-maintained and clean, but the coldness inside made it an uncomfortable experience, especially for the last weekend in November when temperatures were below freezing outside.
What was really concerning was the temperature control situation. The thermostat in the living room was set to 69°F and locked, so we couldn’t adjust it to our comfort level. The main bedroom, which was a converted space, had no insulation, making it freezing cold, as well as the attached bathroom. I checked the temperature on my phone, and it read 59°F for the bathroom and 62°F for the bedroom—definitely not acceptable for the time of year, especially given that we were trying to stay warm inside.
Additionally, the host sent a message with a warning about the water pressure downstairs. Apparently, due to high water pressure in the downstairs bathroom, the hot water runs out quickly, and it can take hours to regenerate. This is a major concern for a four-bedroom house, as it limits the availability of hot water and was quite inconvenient for our group.
Overall, while the house was spacious, these issues with temperature control and water pressure really detracted from the experience. I would not recommend this property unless these issues are addressed.
