Fifteen minutes from Blue Ridge, GA, Eagles Nest is the perfect romantic get-away, a great place to enjoy close friends, or a wonderful place to bond with family. As you enter the cabin you will immediately appreciate the cleanliness and well-appointed amenities. The fully stocked kitchen ensures that you have everything you need for preparing and enjoying meals onsite. Enjoy the woodburning fireplace in the den while relaxing with friends, watching your favorite TV show or game or playing board games. This charming cabin features two bedrooms on the lower level, one king and the other queen along with a full bath. Upstairs, you will find a spacious loft area with a comfortable seating area, a full bath, and a daybed with a trundle. For entertainment, there is a professional foosball table to enjoy. Beautiful fall get away
The listing tells you all you need to know. Beautiful cabin, well equipped. We lost power for a while but we found a flash light. Our dogs enjoyed it too I brought a gate so they couldn’t go up to the loft. Downtown is great too.

Everything We Expected and More!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle's Nest Cabin! Although we were not fortunate enough to see an eagle, the kettle of hawks circling was awesome to see. The cabin was just as described! We hope to return very soon.

Nice Mountain View
Overall was a nice cabin and the host was very courteous and quick to anwser any questions and that is a big thing for me personally. Check in was a breeze. Anybody can find little nick picking things but I won’t even go there. It’s secluded enough for your privacy. It’s high up in the mountains and that is what I loved. Me and my wife really enjoyed it. I would stay again without question.

It has potential.
The view and outdoor space did not disappoint, and the place was stocked with bath/hot tub towels, which was a nice touch. However, I thought the cabin lacked intention and cleanliness. There were dead beetles and spiderwebs in the loft next to the bed and game basket, which made my little one hesitant. I understand it’s a cabin in the woods and impossible to keep bugs out, but these items should’ve been tidied up prior to arrival. The game pieces were thrown into the bins and disorganized, and the foosball table was not level, which made game play a little terrible. I also found an empty bottle of personal lubricant on the floor next to my bed downstairs. Happy for the last guests who stayed there, but I should not have had to see it and throw it away. Overall, our stay was okay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the cabin was missing those promising little personal touches. For instance, the bowl of fake apples could’ve been real apples from a local orchard. There were no streaming services available on the TVs. The upstairs shower head provided little water pressure, and is a very basic model. There were 4 crappy wine bottle openers, one of which was broken. There were no curtains to keep out the light in the morning. Also, the hot tub was so overly chlorinated that it burned our eyes and ruined the experience. I hate to be nit-picky, but for the rate (fees and cleaning fee), we were disappointed. I think the cabin would benefit from a little TLC.

Cool little cabin with big view
The cabin was clean and comfortable. Screened porch, hot tub and the view were the highlights for us. Road up the mountain was a little rough and the living room would be too small for more than 3 people.

Amazing stay in beautiful cabin
Our family - 2 parents and 3 kids - spent 5 nights in the cabin. We received excellent communication from the beginning, with advance move-in instructions and plenty of helpful information about the surrounding area, including recommendations for places to eat and sightsee. The cabin was clean and cozy, with everything prepared for a comfortable stay. The kids especially enjoyed playing table soccer upstairs, and we all loved spending evenings at the outdoor fire pit or on the screened lanai with its stunning mountain views. The hot tub was a particularly relaxing feature. The area is quiet and safe, and the drive up the mountain road was manageable. There are many nearby attractions, as well as shops and restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive from the cabin. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and created wonderful memories. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful secluded view.
It was just my husband and myself on this trip for his 75th Birthday and the cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. Loved sitting in the hot tub with the gorgeous view of the mountains across the valley. It felt very secluded. Loved seeing the deer walking around.

Nice cabin that was clean and exactly as pictures show. Didn’t care for the long drive up the paved, curvy mountain road; but that’s how you get the view from the back porch. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.

Peaceful serenity in the mountains
This is the second property that we have stayed at with this host. We very much enjoyed spending time in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The views for the porch were amazing. Just the peaceful tranquility we needed. We highly recommend any of Matt's properties.

We love coming up to the GA mountains from our FL home and have stayed in Cherry Log before so we were familiar with the location. This spot was perfect for us to take the dogs! It is easy access on paved roads but in the woods. The cabin was great and had everything we needed - kitchen, bath, hot tub. We spent so much time relaxing on the porch! But there is so much to do…we went on many hikes, kayaked and white water rafted all within an hour drive. We saw deer and a bear from the back porch and lots of birds and squirrels. Matt was great with communication and everything was clearly spelled out- check in, stay and checkout. We would definitely book here again!
