Börgerende is considered an insider’s tip – a seaside village with pristine nature without mass tourism and with original charm. It is a former fishing and farming village just 300 metres from the sea. This holiday apartment with quality furnishing is on the upper floor of a holiday house completed in autumn 2013, in a location with little traffic.
You can start the day with a sumptuous breakfast on one of the balconies, accompanied by the cawing of seagulls, and breath the wonderfully fresh Baltic Sea air and look forward to a sunny day by the sea. One balcony is accessed from the bedroom, the other from the living room.
The maisonette with under-floor heating can accommodate up to four people. It has a separate bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200cm). The modern, open living and dining room is also on the first floor. The living room provides a sofa bed with a sprung mattress and a flatscreen TV. This floor also has a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a towel radiator. Stairs in the hallway lead up to the generous, open sleeping gallery on the second floor suitable for children. It also has a pull-out sofa. Children have also been taken into consideration and a travel cot, highchair and bottle warmer are available free of charge. The second floor can be secured by a gate. The apartment has been classified as three-star by the DTV.
There are several restaurants, an ice cream stall, a bakery and a playground in the village. It is just 300 metres to the Baltic Sea natural swimming beach. There are also sandy and pebbled beaches, a nudist section (indicated) and a beach suitable for dogs. Börgerende is between Heiligendamm (4km) and the Baltic Sea town of Warnemünde (14km). Other places in the area are the Baltic Sea town of Kühlungsborn (13km), the spa town of Bad Doberan (6km) with its munster and the Molli railway, the Hanseatic town of Rostck (20km) with a zoo and the world cultural heritage town of Wismar (50km). You can enjoy a variety of sports in Börgerende, such as hiking, cycling, skating or swimming. In the vicinity you can find riding stables, a golf course, a diving and sailing school etc.
