The one thing I didn’t like about the hotel is that there were parties every weekend in the hotel with loud music lasting until 02:00AM. One of the hotel staff members even came to my room to measure the decibels of the music when there was a quiceñera going on and confessed that the music was in fact way too loud. However, nothing was done to lower the volume and this really negatively influenced my stay at the hotel. I came to Bogotá for a business trip and the parties in the hotel made it impossible for me to get a good night sleep. But overall I do like the area and the hotel itself is clean and offers a great breakfast.

This is a wonderful Hotel chain. They have exceeded my expectations. All the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure I had a comfortable stay and looked after every detail, nothing was overlooked. The restaurants in and around the hotel are well service and provide a variety of delicious culinary delights. There are way to many people to thank but I want to send a special heartfelt thanks to MariaAngel and Nathalie at front desk, and Estaban in housekeeping. During my stay in Bogota, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sonesta. The location was perfect for my needs. Close to local restaurants, and right across the street from the mall. The service at Sontesta is beyond 5 stars. From checking in, to the room cleaning staff, to the amazing breakfast buffet, laundry service, and the cleanliness, everything was perfect and beyond my expectations. A hotel Operator named Alejandra was such an amazing, refreshing and energetic resource for all of my needs. I don't recall her last name but she spoke English which made it very easy for me to communicate with her. If you have a need for business or general travel to Bogota, Hotel Sonesta should be your choice. It's about a 30 min or so drive from the airport. Upon my checkout, Alejandra coordinated with the front desk staff and had a lunch packed for me free of charge for my travel back home! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and not once have I had this experience. This was such a simple, yet considerate display of their absolute amazing attention to customer service. Everything about my stay there was amazing. Very clean, comfortable, and service oriented. Such an amazing experience and I cannot say enough about the staff. It was a very pleasurable travel experience that I highly recommend staying at Sonesta.
