Central Boise Bench Bungalow

Welcome to The Central Boise Bench Bungalow! This single level home is in an mature neighborhood but was fully renovated in 2022! There are no shared spaces here, the home is yours and yours only for your stay and you won't have to worry about overbearing hosts or roaming animals. It is only 5 minutes to the Boise Town Square mall, 7 minutes to Downtown Boise, and 9 minutes to the Boise Airport!

With you in mind, we have packed this house with the essentials for a long and comfortable stay. You will have full access to the homes thermostat for heating and air conditioning to dial in your comfort level. And yes, we provide coffee!

The bedrooms are ready for warm sleepers, cold sleepers and even some picky sleepers. The mattresses are comfortable quality Costco mattresses each providing a comfortable night of sleep. Each bed has 4 pillows with some pillows "firm" and some "soft". There are extra linens and extra comforters ready for each bed as well for your own sleeping customizations. We hope that any guest can find comfort here.

The kitchen has been filled with the amenities allowing for home cooked meals, baking and even some leftovers too. You will find pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, bowls, cooking spoons and ladles, blender, microwave, coffee maker, spices, first aid kit, cleaning supplies and so much more!

All three bedrooms have great space, comfortable beds and clean soft sheets. The master has a smart tv for your viewing pleasure. The two full bathrooms are stocked with the essentials including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, hair dryers, make up towels and more! The master bathroom has a shower and the guest bathroom has a shower and tub ready for a bubble bath!

The living area has a very comfortable couch, a wood burning fireplace and a smart TV for your viewing pleasure. We have a queen sized air mattress at this home that sleeps two people comfortably. The couch is also available as a sleeping spot as well for those looking to sleep nine.

The wood burning fireplace is a real treat and is a very unique feature to this home and speaks to the homes history. We do not provide firewood for your stay but you are welcome to use any we have at the home or grab some from the grocery store 3 minutes away.

Toys and board games are essential in our family and so we have provided some for your use while staying here. We have two girls, so a lot of the toys can be girly but the board games are geared for the whole family.

The garage has space for 2 vehicles and is available for you to park your car at all times during your stay. We have security cameras in the front of the home and in the garage that will be on at all times for safety.

In the backyard, you will find a covered sitting area with a BBQ Grill ready to go! The covered concrete area and grassy areas are a great space for the kids to run around when the weather is nice and even when it is not. Our stay was absolutely perfect. Check in was super easy, and the space is well decorated, spotless, comfortable, and labeled for ease of finding anything you need. From the moment we walked inside it was comfortable and restful. I wish I could have stayed forever. Please note the living room is lower than the rest of the house. Absolutely not a problem just something to be aware of if anyone has mobility concerns. My husband uses a walker so we just had to pay attention. Thank you for the lovely place to stay.

We highly recommend this property that was very homey, cozy and nicely done!! Lots of upgrades and was a great time with the family for our grandson’s graduation. Great place to stay in Boise!
We headed to Boise for a weeklong trip and had everybody from my little kids, my grandparents and our black lab. The property was absolutely wonderful! Everything was extraordinarily clean, and very well laid out. The kitchen was fully socked (aka, more than 4 plates, and they had spices and oil!). The beds are memory foam and the bathtub was deep, but not too deep for my toddlers. The downside space was nice, although it was a little bit too windy for us to take advantage of the fire pit. Having a grill was such a great plus as well! Communication with the host was great, but truly we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The only two things to note are that the access through the garage felt a little awkward at first, but you get used to it. Also, there are not blackout curtains on the windows in the bedrooms, which made it a little bit tricky getting my kids to sleep during the early sunrise and late sunset, but nothing that would be the fault of anyone, just a preference. We absolutely would stay here again. 5/5 stars!

It felt like home and the location was perfect! It was nicely remodeled and clean! The garage parking was a nice perk too! It was close to top rated restaurants and conveniently located to almost anything we wanted to do. The host was extremely responsive, but we really didn't need to correspond too much because everything was communicated before our trip and explained in the home. We definitely will stay there again!

Wonderful Home & Hosts
This home is exactly as described, very clean, set for couples, families or folks coming in for work needing a nice home to stay. The hosts are so helpful and very easy to contact. The location is great for access to downtown, airport and surrounding suburbs of Meridian, etc. We hosted a wonderful family event for Thanksgiving and it worked great. Lovely outdoor yard and fire pit that made for a fun time outdoors. Would most defiantly stay again. Thank you Diaz Family for having such a nice home you share.

Best EVER!
We had to book a last minute trip to Boise and this cozy home was absolutely perfect for our family. We had everything we needed AND more! The cleanliness was outstanding as well. The welcome binder was very clear and concise so we never had any questions. But even if we did, our host was always quick to respond! Everything about the process was smoooooth. 30 out of 10 would recommend to anyone staying in Boise!!!

Five Stars All The Way!
We come to Boise a few times a year and this was by far the best home we have stayed in. From communication from the owner, to a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and all around adorable decor we were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in
Host Michael was outstanding. Immediately responsive and immensely helpful, he answered several questions for us, and it was clear he cares about his guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable stay. He even let me know when housekeeping was finished in case I wanted to check in early. I made three tiny suggestions for how to make it even more perfect just because I could tell he was the kind of host who would want to know, and he indicated he could probably implement all three that very day. The house was spotless, comfortable, filled with extras you dont often find in a VRBO, and everything felt very luxurious compared to a hotel room. It was also charming with its decor. We used it simply as a short overnight stop, arriving late and leaving early. I was disappointed we didn’t have more time to enjoy it, but it worked well for that purpose, too. It would be a great place for a families, business travel, or pretty much anything. There are minimal steps, but watch the step into the sunken living room, as I wasn't expecting it when I first walked into that room and nearly fell. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The garage was handy in the rain. Check-in and out was super easy - and unlike most VRBOs, there are no chores for the guests to do. Just be a good guest because this place deserves it! Highly recommended, I would give a bonus star if I could to indicate how truly outstanding our stay was compared to other 5 star reviews I have left. I hope to return someday.

Lovely home
I gave it 4 stars because it was so sparsely furnished. The biggest things were no coffee table or enough chairs to accommodate 6 adults. Also, the bedding was inadequate for the cold weather, we really needed blankets. We only had a sheet and thin coverlet. Also, only 3 wine glasses. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the house.

Very clean, convenient location
House was as depicted with lots of extras to make for a comfortable stay. Shampoo, soap, laundry, extra linens, fully equipped kitchen and grill area including spices and condiments. There were games and toys to use. The location was great for the major sights, most were less than 15 minutes away. Quiet neighborhood with a garage. Host was helpful and quick to respond. Would stay here again!
