My experience at the Sparrow was poor. My door lock had issues and I was locked in my room both mornings unable to get out. Extremely unsafe.The showers were lukewarm at best. The wifi and streaming was also poor. The staff asked about my stay but did nothing to fix or make better these issues. The location is great. Hopefully they can remedy these issues.

Kind of bare bones. No fridge or microwave in room. Excellent TV. Hotel seemed to be going for a college dorm vibe. Overpowering pine scent piped into hallways. IMMACULATELY clean. (Not possible to get any cleaner), I found it comfortable and quiet. Many, many dining options nearby. I would stay here again.

So, the staff was lovely and the room was really comfortable (including the mattress) I had an issue with the temp in my room, but staff took care of it right away. The main issue,is the nightly noise from the alley, which ran under my room. Both nights there were large trucks making tremendous noise anywhere between 4-5:30 am. Somehow, this needs to change before I stay again.

This new hotel's staff is so friendly. We had a room above the lobby desk. It had what we needed, excellent toiletries, strong water pressure and clean. It is minimal in size but the design is excellent. There is no elevator or frig but that was no problem for us. In walking distance to so many restaurants, bars and shops. The only strange thing was walking out your room door and people sitting there having coffee n visiting from the coffee shop below but really didn't hear them.

It was my first time at The Sparrow and I loved the property. The staff went out of their to help me with everything I needed!!! Parking rate was very reasonable. Beautiful room; loved the simple decor; bathroom was very clean, new and beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Boise! Thank you!!!!

Room was dirty. Stain on office chair. All you did was put lipstick on a pig from the Ol’ Safari Inn. Tissues in bathroom were about half the box. Couldnt get cold water from faucet.

We stayed here twice within a week as stopovers on our way to/from a vacation, and will definitely do so again. Loved the walkability of the neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants and nightlife options. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed (charging stations in convenient location, coffee/tea station, nice toiletries, storage shelves and hooks exactly where you’d want them, etc). The staff were very kind and helpful. Overall a great stay.
