Room was very tired, damaged furniture and walls. The bedside light shades were ready for the bin. The place needed a facelift. On the positive side, the water pressure was good, the availability of an iron and ironing board was handy and the hairdryer was good.

Bit run down but good enough.
Nice staff, clean room and very quiet. Hotel is a bit run down now but it was good enough for a one night stay. Car park could do with dome maintenance.

The first impression of the Bolton Britannia hotel is poor. Very tired and in need of a makeover. The approach road is potholed. However once inside it is much better, clean if not a little outdated. This goes for the rooms as well. The staff were all outside when I arrived,smoking. Nobody was at reception, when they did come in, they were unfriendly and barely spoke. Almost like i was an inconvenience. Not the best customer experience.
